Tucked into a strip of stores on the north side of Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway, this member of the McCormick and Schmick's string of eateries offers the same fine and fresh seafood, the same wonderful sourdough bread and all of the other quality offerings as the downtown members of this family. We go there for lunch to enjoy a cozy meal with... More

This is a solid restaurant where, guess what, the fish is the star. Their dishes are always well prepared but generally nothing to actually rave about. Prices, to me, for what you get, are on the high side. But, you won't likely have a bad experience.

Scrooge and the Ghost of Christmas past at McCormicks on Christmas eve. First let me preface the review with the fact that I grew up in a family in which some of the family started a restaurant in 1953 that still exists and has won two James Beard awards. Bottom line...I have intimate knowledge of how restaurants should operate and... More

Two couples on a Thursday nite at 6 p.m. Couldn't deal with the noise in the bar thus we lost the value of the Happy Hour. Sat in the dining room where the booths are tight, and if coats are hung you can't pass. This is not a good start. The waiter, Charles, was adequate. Our selections... Signature Trout ($20),... A group of seven men went there for dinner and four of the seven entrees were very sad. Three of us ordered the oysters, one ordered the salmon and three ordered red meat. The oysters portions were so small..two to three pieces of oysters and lots of breading pieces that we all were taken back. It changed the conversation at... More

We stopped here only because we were driving by and were starving. The parking lot looked pretty full, which is usually a good indicator. The service was fast and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the blackened chicken fettuccine, and I can honestly say it was the best I have ever had in my life. I wish I... More

This used to be our go to restaurant for a special dinner but not anymore. We keep trying but about done even trying. The food just isn't the high quality it used to be. Staff is friendly. Great wine list. Personally thing seafood restaurants should not serve farm raised fish and seafood.

Went out for a date with my wife and it didn't turn out as planned. The bottom line for any restaurant is the food. Atmosphere, location, cost, service, special attractions can all be important, but the bottom line is the food. My wife's fish came to the table over cooked. The waiter was very professional and the manager was very... More

I was treated to a very special preparation of seared Ahi Tuna as an appetizer followed by a petite portion of very fresh white flaky Halibut both excellent. My wife sampled the lobster bisque, a perfect rendition followed by a delicious Kale salad. All perfect for lunch

This place is still pretty good, but seems to have lost its way in the past few years. All the seafood used to be local and super fresh, but not this time. The Dungeness crab in the stack had that not fresh taste, and the Alaskan king crab had that slight taste as if it had been frozen. The desserts... More
