My three friends and I were in Brookings for the weekend. We enjoyed a great lunch at Pacific Sushi on Sunday afternoon. The service was excellent and our food was delicious. One of our group is vegetarian and she found menu items to please her....I enjoyed the beef Udon noodles which was better than ever. It had lots of veggies in it to round out the beef and noodles. two others had the Bento Box and sushi. All was very beautifully presented and delicious. It was a memorable lunch and we are sure to return.More

We don't eat sushi but we wanted to try Pacific Sushi & Grill. We sat at the bar like we always do when we go out to dinner and the place was packed. I had the calamari appetizer and it was fantastic. I probably could've...eaten two orders but will shoot for that next time we're in Brookings. My husband had the tempura prawns and really liked them but wants to try the hanger steak next time because the gentleman sitting next to him had ordered it and he said it was excellent. Very pleasant staff. Nicely decorated. We'll definitely go back!More

Freshest fish, perfectly paired with a creative flair. The presentation was impeccable. If I could give it six stars...I would. I have had sushi worldwide and was astonished by Pacific Sushi's talent.

We had tempura prawns for the appetizer. My wife had the Redwood and I had the rib eye. Each meal had very good presentation and was perfect. The rib eye was close to form tender and cooked to a perfect medium.

Three of us, with very different food preferences, had a variety of dishes and loved all of them. We actually went there on a recommendation from the front desk girl at our hotel when we asked for the best burger in town. The service right...from the start was pleasant and professional, the menu extensive, full bar available, servers prompt and attentive. Lots of seating in a deceptively small looking store front. Highly recommend this place. A bit pricey but not unreasonably so.More

This place is along the 101 in the walkable part of Brookings. There is sometimes a wait; but the street has lots of shops to browse through. It’s in a very cute restaurant adjacent to a music venue; where local musicians play. First off: the...food is AMAZING. Best within 100 miles! 🍱🍣🍶More

I am a sushi snob, so keep that in mind with this review. We really liked sitting in the lounge area... cozy and comfy. The cilantro lime margarita is outstanding. First.. the sashimi. Super pricey, but we got the chefs special (5 pieces for $19......although, they gave us 6). Salmon... great flavor, texture buttery and cold. Tuna... fresh, good texture... mild flavor. Yellowtail... was just OK. a tiny bit fishy tasting, and we got an end piece with a little skin. NOt bad though. Uni- for my "dessert"... was glad they had it as its become so popular, its tough to find and pricey. however, I was shocked to find out it was $20 for 2 pieces. Unfortunately, it wasn't very good... tasted a little old. Rolls... the volcano was disappointing, but not bad. Just not like other places "volcano" type rolls. 2 other rolls we had (forgot which ones) were very tasty, large and fresh. Overall, fairly happy with the experience, although felt the prices were on the high side. At least teh portions were big, so that is a plus. Service was OK. Would probably give 3.5 stars, but going to bump to 4.More

We are not sushi eaters, so can't review that. But we did have vegetables with wide noodles. The noodles were not wide noodles, the veggies were cooked just right, but the sauce was just awful! Sooo strong and thick that we added our drinking water...to our plates so we could eat. And of course that made it thin and watery. They stop serving lunch at 3:00--we got there at 2:30 and would not honor their lunch menu either, so prices were very high. Portions were very small and kept having to ask for water, napkins, etc. Not real organized. Waitress never asked how our meals were...... Sorry, but cannot recommend this restaurant and will not go there again. Stick with Kun Thai even though they have raised their prices a lot.More

We went early, which was good because the place was small and it filled up fast. None of the employees wore masks (despite Oregon law). Appetizer tempura vegetables were hot and crisp with a huge portion of a variety of veggies. Both sushi rolls and...nigiri sushi were fresh and very tasty. The prices seemed high. A good meal even though it was spendy, but I would have felt better with better COVID compliance.More

We expected that Teriyaki Chicken in a Japanese predominant restaurant would be good, not so, chicken rubbery, sauce commercial, the rice was really sour and inedible, the vegetables were not bad but oddly seasoned for Japanese, the french fries were great. WAY overpriced, servings very...small, would never go back.More

We do love our sushi! I was not in the mood for such so I actually ordered their burger because it was recommended. It really was delicious but an $18 burger better be right? We also ordered the Bruce Lee Roll because, well that's our...favorite roll there. My burger had a lot of the paper from the onion in it so that was kind of annoying. I will say also that they have the coldest beer around!More

Pretty standard meal. There is an effort to be inventive and unique I just wasn’t wowed and the prices were high. A simple roll with miso on a lunch special runs $20. The bento box offers a large meal and includes a meat option and...a roll for $16. It’s a small space. Extra plexiglass guards were placed but at lunch the place was full.More

This is the number one place for almost any type of meal. I can't say much because I don't like sea food very much, but you don't need to! When I ate the burger, it was so juicy, so tasty, that I would say it...was the best burger I ever had. My dad had the ramen, he said it tasted very real, like actual ramen from japan. All of my friends say that the seafood is amazing to. 11/10, would recommendMore

Friend recommended Pacific and we were not disappointed! Great fresh fish, ample portions, and attentive service. COVID compliance was excellent, lots of take out orders went out the door. The flourless chocolate torte was delish! Tempura veggies had great coating, not too heavy. The rainbow...roll was my fav, ordered with the real crab-awesome!More

This is the first sustainable sushi place I have ever eaten at and I was impressed. The selection was still great even to the point that they use bbq sable fish in place of unagi. I found it to be a tasty substitute and did...not miss the real thing. All of the rolls and nigiri I ordered tasted fresh and in many cases used locally caught fish/seafood. There are some good choices for non- sushi fans as my wife had teriyaki chicken and I enjoyed the bite I stole from her. Our server was friendly and very attentive.More
