Deeelicious dinner. My wife and I elected to go with the chef's specials offered that evening. Oh my. So glad we did. My halibut over a beautiful bed of vegetables surrounded by potato slices was divine. My wife's shrimp and grits was ridiculously delicious with the creamy grits and just the right amount of heat from the sauce. Truely a... More

Quaint, cozy, and some of the finest food. The chef and staff are amazing as well as the customer service from the wait staff.

Great selection of fresh local ingredients. Salmon was outstanding--especially the sauce. Dessert-lava cake delicious.

Back again this year and I was set on again having Chef John's Crawfish Étouffée. That was until we were told the feature was DUCK Étouffée! Of course I had to get it. WOW! If Chef offers scrambled eggs Étouffée, I'm gett'n 'em! All layers of this sauce are so clearly identifiable yet work together seamlessly. My wife's Seafood Creole... More

Nice decor and good staff, but were disappointed with our meals. Perhaps it was an off day since we visited during the off season, but my crab roll seemed very ordinary and husband's turkey sierra sandwich wasn't super flavorful either. I added the sour kraut side to my crab roll, and that helped. We'd always wanted to try this place... More

Hi, I'm really sorry you were disappointed with your visit to my restaurant. I don't know how to respond as the two items you ordered are certainly in the top 5 in popularity. I can only try to explain what we do. The crab roll came about from my days in New England and the "Lobster Roll". We take crab... More

So had to try crawfish etoufee. It was flavorful, but, for shellfish, I'll stick to shrimp or lobster. Quite a large portion of those little critters, in a mildly spicy sauce. My wife had crab cakes, which I sampled. They were quite large with a decent salad. The presentation was excellent, but the crab cakes were not as good as... More

Thank you for your recent review. Sorry you weren't super pleased with crawfish tail meat, it's a freshwater critter that sweet and similar to langostino's. next time please ask for a shrimp version which you may enjoy more? I'm kinda shocked about the crab cakes as almost all our diners rate them as the best they ever had being 90%... More

This is a nice little cafe just off the main strip in Cannon Beach. Their food is wonderful and they have several vegetarian and vegan options along with the usual fish dishes you'd expect to find on the coast.
