Yes it was Easter Sunday and the restaurant was not busy and most of the tables did not have reserved signs on them. We got the long suffering sigh treatment when the we explained we didn't make reservation. It was a limited menu, fine, we wanted fish and chips and it was noting the menu. Poorly cooked fish and limp... More

Food was very good (fish N chips), service was outstanding, price was mediocre to high depending (but being from an area that isn't as high priced as most places we've traveled to, it's hard to compare). Atmosphere was pleasant.

Waitress was friendly and seemed efficient. Food was tasty. But we seemed to wait forever for the food.

For Fish and chips- 4 pc fish with small fries, 1 herbal tea (tea cup was small like a whisky cup) and daily special and two cups of water, we ended up paying $48.00. We understand seafoods are expensive. However, it's bit pricy. Staff seemed to be unhappy with their workplace. It would be nice if cafe owner thinks about... More

The fish and chips were great thou a little overpriced we thought - especially for the child's portion. My husband enjoyed his rockfish special very much. We ordered within a few minutes but waited for almost 1 hour. Luckily we had 2 very patient children (ages 6 and 4) who spent the time drawing after I had to ask for... More

Great little place with delicious food. Chowder is so good. Cheesy garlic bread is really good too. Free wifi was a plus today.

Four of us were here for dinner on Sunday night. We arrived only about 30 minutes before the 8 pm closing. We had excellent service and fantastic food especially the shrimp enchiladas and local oysters. My brother-in-law's fish and chips was kind of greasy but he said the chowder was great. I'll definitely be back.

The High Tide is quintessential small fishing village atmosphere. The food is very good, the service is polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. Great view of the water, outdoor dining is available, and they serve local seafood, local beer and spirits.

The food wasn't my favorite; but, their bloody mary's were amazing. The customer service has always been GREAt. I have eaten there three times, now. It was my first restaurant in Coos Bay, so will always have good memories.
