We found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and are so glad we did. The ingress was a bit tricky. It took me several moments to figure out how to get in. The restaurant is in a very old hotel building and thus has much authentic charm. I had a vegetarian house made black bean and quinoa burger which was DELICIOUS!... More

Excellent place to have breakfast. The owner is especially generous to local non-profits and Veterans! A percentage of your tab goes back to the community. Arrive early, they are always full. Background noise is difficult if you wear hearing aids.

I've been to Buster's three times now for breakfast and it is really, really good. Sometimes you have to wait a bit for a table (it's very small) but it is so worth the wait. They have specials and the food really does taste as good as it looks. When in Cottage Grove, get up early and go out for... More

We had a wonderful brunch here in this charming building (make sure to visit the antique shop in the back). Staff was friendly and helpful and the food was excellent.

This little gem is really, really good. Breakfast offerings run the gamut from traditional to creative. Launching with excellent coffee, we followed up with superb corned beef hash and stuffed French toast. The former was loaded with savory chunks of house-cured corned beef that was perfect -- boldly seasoned but not salty. Topped with two poached eggs, this was as... More

This is the 4th time, I have ordered take out. I go there and even give them more time than they said and they had not started my order till I walk in. Very disturbing for a person who has a limited lunch hour. Food is good, but LUNCH TIME TAKE OUT SUCKS!!! Go anywhere else for lunch take out.

We were touring Oregon and on our way back to Eugene. Stopped off at Cottage Grove and thanks to AAA found this wonderful little place. The service is extremely friendly and the choice of food and drink is excellent. Our sandwiches were delicious.

Busy little cafe with excellent breakfast, good coffe, nice atmosphere. My poached eggs were perfectly cooked, which is a treat for me (I am very picky about my eggs!). We will definitely come back!

Stopped at Buster's while passing through Cottage Grove on Halloween Day. I see complaints about a wait time, but we arrived on Monday, mid-morning, so there was no wait. I cannot recall our server's name, but she was very friendly, and our meals turned out quickly. I had pancakes, and our table shared an enormous plate of hash browns; our... More

Located in the old Cottage Grove Hotel, the place is filled with memorabilia of Buster Keaton who starred in the movie "The General" filmed in Cottage Grove in the 1920's. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. It is small but worth the wait if you have to.
