We wanted a light lunch and we picked the right place. The prices seem high for the serving size, but the quality of the food was excellent. The chowder and fish & chips are worth going back for.

Average food but just fine, and the waitress was extremely nice. Service was good, and our water glasses were always full.

Good restaurant, the chowder and corn bread were good but not exceptional. Our waitress did a nice job, nothing out of the ordinary. Cute little town with little shops, fun experience.

We ordered the shrimp sandwich (because they were out of crab) and the tuna melt. The shrimp sandwich was okay. Just a bunch of lukewarm baby shrimp piled on some bread. My tuna melt was really good, but nothing you couldn't make at home. The clam chowder was pretty good. The waitress was very cold and seemed to be bothered... More

The restaurant was very busy and not enough staff on. We had a cup of clam chowder and salad. It was delicious. This was the second time we ate here and both times the food was very good.

Stopped in here for a quick bite during our trip up the coast. Incredible views of the coast in this area and the Chowder Bowl was convenient. Staff were friendly and the Chowder was good. Fresh salad also made it worth the stop. Enjoyed!

We almost always visit the Chowder Bowl in Depot Bay on our annual trip to the coast. This year I was very disappointed!!! The chowder was nothing short of awful. It literally tasted like day old glue. Disappointed. The service was slow, slow, slow. It wasn't like the place was busy as there were only about three other tables occupied... More

When you first walk into this place, it doesn't look like much but they make up for it with very fresh seafood and some of the best chowder I have had. Highly recommend the fish and chips. Not greasy, fresh and they come with excellent crispy French fries. This is always our go to place when we travel through Depoe... More

Stopped in for lunch and ordered clam chowder and a Dead Guy Ale, a local beer. Both were excellent! Affordable delicious lunch - my kinda place. Highly recommend!
