My wife and I are locals and went to the downtown location of this restaurant (800 block of Willamette Street) for breakfast yesterday. It was a truly lousy experience. Service was slow and unprofessional. When our waffles finally arrived they were cold, on a cold plate and the eggs were overdone. Poorly managed restaurant with, at best, mediocre food.

The only reason I gave such a high review was because of how good the food was and how friendly the staff was. The wait was crazy, and just for a waffle? I didn't understand that. The waffles were pretty small. It wasn't enough for my boyfriend and I could have eaten more too. It was busy and there weren't... More

Got the original, they told me I didn't need syrup but it was too dry for my liking and the butter was rock hard. They should give whipped butter or soft butter at least. Poplar place, very crowded, maybe it's just me. Waffle was $3 cheap and my coffee was $2.75, go figure ......

Nine dollars for a small waffle with two thin pieces of bacon and an egg on top. Also, five dollars for a glass of orange juice. If your looking for an expensive waffle served by granola heads, this is the place to go. If not, do yourself a favor and find a place that serves a meal woth the cost.

What a fun place to stop. A great place to take a Hungry college student to eat. The food was really good and enjoyable place to go.

If you want a great waffle, this is the place to go. Two locations: out on Willamette and down town both easy to find. Just very consistent. Not fancy but really good. Some very creative approached to the waffle. Go and enjoy!

I don't think so. This was my first time to Off the Waffle. The product is great. I had a pretty traditional meal: bacon, egg and waffle with maple syrup. My son had one made with chèvre (goat) cheese that he really liked. This is a unique assembly of food and tastes placed on a more traditional breakfast 'template'. The... More

I travel through Eugene occasionally and have made a habit of stopping in at this place. The last couple of times though, it's really gone downhill. The menu has been downsized and limited, as have the hours. The two sweet options for waffles have Nutella on them, so those with tree nut allergies have to make costly additions and changes... We ate here again and again because the food is so good. Had the regular breakfast waffle with bacon and egg. Also the waffle with Brie and fruit. All very very tasty.
