Stop often when traveling highway 26. Always count on quality homestyle food at a reasonable price. Can also rent a room if you have a mind to.

Quirky restaurant in Government Camp near Mt. Hood. It appears to be a one-woman operation: she waited tables, collected monies, poured coffee and water all the while two young men bussed tables and another turned out food. Our breakfasts were decent; service was spotty and prices were high. If your lodging is at Timberline, eat there, the breakfast buffet price... More

There was one server and a full restaurant. Our order came out in pieces...pie first, sandwich next, then the check before we got our huckleberry shakes. We were there at least an hour. The huckleberry shakes were good...we took them to go...and the huckleberry ice cream on the pie was good. The pie itself was forgettable. By 1:30 PM there... More

We had lunch at the huckleberry. It is an interesting restaurant, and the food was good. It is easy to get to.

Had breakfast here and food was great! They make homemade donuts and pastries that are amazing! We actually split one donut into 6 pieces to share. They are huge!!!!!

The restaurant’s atmosphere does take you back in time but the food is pretty much what you would expect for a diner. The portions were generous but it just tasted mediocre. Not a lot of choices for diner so next time I would try breakfast.

Nothing fancy, just above average greasy spoon food. I had breakfast and the omlet was great. Very Large Portions!

Big portions? Check. Comfort food? Check. Huckleberry Pie and Milkshakes? Check. No fuss, no muss lodging? Check. The Huckleberry Inn has been a part of Government Camp since 1966. It is one of Government Camp's iconic landmark locations and provides year-round lodging and food for people all over the world that come to visit Mt. Hood. Homemade Biscuits and Gravy... More

Whenever making a trip over the mountain to see family in Gresham, Welches, and Portland we love to stop here to grab a quick bite to eat. The staff treat us like we're part of the family. Food is always hot, and in the summer the drinks are always cold. Overall this is one of my favorite restaurants to stop... More

After reading about this being one of the places to go while in this area, we decided to go there mid-morning. Since we had already had breakfast and it was too early for lunch we decided to have pie and my husband, of course, wanted to try the huckleberry pancakes so he ordered a small stack. Our service was terrible... More
