A lot of locals like Bette's and so do we. Though they are usually pretty busy at breakfast time, service is still good and friendly and the food is good.
I've had brekkie and lunch at Bette's and couldn't tell you which was better - they both were superb. Vegie omelet with red potatoes instead of hashies - drool. They serve you plenty for the price and you get to hear lots of local gossip.
We spent a wonderful day touring the Columbia Gorge, the Fruit Loop and Mt. Hood and we stopped for lunch at Bette's Place in Hood River. Nothing fancy but the food is wonderful and the staff is so friendly!

Servings are exceedingly generous, attractively presented and economically priced. Staff friendly and efficient.
This was our first visit to this well known breakfast place. We came in with high expectations due to great food reviews. Our visit was around 11am, where they had what looked like the start of a lunch crowd. This is a seat yourself restaurant,...More
