Disappointingly long wait poor service & food! We ordered prime rib which turned out to be rib eye steaks, ok, but they were very very tough & the baked potatoes raw. Also ordered a chicken skewer dish thrown on a plate with awful glop for sauce, vegetables were again raw.

While passing through The Dalles I saw the billboard for this restaurant and thought I would give it a try. OMG! Amazing! I can't remember the last time I had a ribeye steak that was so tender and had such good taste. Steaks are flame grilled and you can sure taste the difference. The service was great and prices reasonable.... More

Have stayed in Hood River, Oregon several times over the last few years and this little restaurant is a must. Don't let the size and location deny you one of the best steaks in town. Great portions with multiply side options depending on what you want/can spend. Steak was cooked as desired and the baked potatoes was moist and easy... More

Not sure if I liked the Hawaiian Ribeye or banana/chocolate cheesecake more. Both were excellent! Steaks are cooked over open flame fueled by of course, Mesquite wood.

We tried the mesquitery for dinner on a Thursday night based on good reviews. We were not disappointed. We had a short wait to be seated as they were very busy. The booths are not that comfortable but are private and it was unique as one could watch the chef working very hard and very dilligently at the grill as... More

We came to HR for the weekend and searched for a good dinner place. We decided this one had more variety then one on the water and I have to say I am so glad we went. We got there right after they opened at 4:30 and where seated right away. It was Valentine's weekend and it got really busy.... More

We stumbled into the Mesquitery sort of by chance. It is a bit odd in it's location, but serves good food and service was good. The place was fairly busy on a weekday evening, and several people seemed to be doing take-out. It does seem a bit pricey for eating there regularly, but is a fun treat for an occasional... More

Awesome Polish comfort items on the menu. Get Polish beer, Perogi, and the Schnitzel! Amazing! Other dishes were still great. Perfect small-town joint at a great price. I wish we had this closers to our own town!

We had a party of 15 and the service was great. Our server Beau was outgoing, fun, and accommodating. He recommended the filet and it was very good. Small space but good food.
