This place is just awesome. The view is beautiful, Santiam River rushing by and if the right season dozens of hummingbirds flying around feeding on necatr. The food was great. We both had burgers which were juicy, fresh and delicious. My Mom had the french fries which were perfectly cooked. I had the onion rings which I highly recommend, these... More

Marion Forks Restaurant is about halfway between Salem and Bend, Oregon on busy Hwy. 22. It's not easy to spot from the highway because it's on Forest Service land and restrictions prevent good signage. But once you find it, you'll discover it's a woodland gem. The menu is ample for breakfast and lunch, with a variety of choices. And the... More

I took my two young girls here after we took a Sunday drive in the mountains. It is your typical road side dinner. Nice enough service and what we found to be nice enough food. My kids got a burger, fish and fries. I got the meatloaf sandwich. Nothing was spectacular. They do have outside seating which runs along a... More

I stop here usually after hiking out in the forests and mountains nearby, or sometimes while making the Salem-Bend drive. Their hours have become more regular, so it's a more reliable option. Building is an old lodge with beautiful woodwork inside (be prepared for some taxidermy), and huge windows looking out on the river. During the summer you can also... More

A must stop when traveling over the Cascades on highway 22. Plenty of parking; cars in front of the restaurant RV's and trailers parking is across the road. Interesting fact : when parking across the road you are actually parking where the original Cafe & Lodge were located until they burned down. Resturant and Bar overlook the creek. The Resturant... The food and service are quite good at this restaurant. The setting outside on the deck is unusually nice. There are few choices for dining on santiam pass and this restaurant offers a welcome break. We were part of a group of six and were well served. The food is typical American cafe food but is well prepared and quite... More

We stopped by here after a few days in the wilderness, and there was no place on earth I'd have rather eaten. They gave huge, delicious servings to all of us, and each menu item was seasoned to perfection. And it was all served with a smile. The building itself oozes community, familiarity and comfort. I felt like I belonged... More

A not too crowded, comfortable for groups, restaurant. The view and hummers on the patio (seating there)make it a wonderful rest stop. The staff was accommodating and food was generous. We haven't tried their lunches but definitely worth the stop.

I just needed some fuel and never expected to have such a fine dining experience! While I don't care for the decor of stuffed animal heads in the main dining area... when it's nice one can avoid those and sit on the deck to watch live hummingbirds and a lovely stream. The waitress was one of the most pleasant servers... More
