"This is mainly a pizza place, so I probably erred by choosing fish and chips. The battered fish was soggy and the chips (frries to Americans) were average at best.

We stopped by the Outpost for breakfast before leaving town. The menu selections very varied and matched up to our hunger levels perfectly. The portions are adequate without being over whelming. The atmosphere was down home small town and obviously a restaurant frequented by locals.

Stumbled in here for breakfast while on the road - what a great choice. My husband had the breakfast burrito and I had huckleberry pancakes. Both delicious, plenty on the plate and value for money. Nice waitress too!

My wife, daughter and I went to the Outpost for dinner. While waiting for our dinner I noticed my daughter (2 years old) looking at the TV. I turned to see a disgusting scene of pornography on the TV. When the waiter came back to our table, I asked him to turn off the TV or change the channel. He... More

I and my nephew had breakfast here. What a pleasant atmosphere. And with my breakfast which was an omelet, came a big thick slice of home made whole grain bread toasted. It was wonderful hearty bread, and the omelet was great. The service was perfect and friendly. There is a cute little area in the front to buy gifts or... More

Food average for a small town diner. Steak way over cooked. No drinkable wine - only cheap supermarket wines far past their prime. Unwilling to pay $6 or more per glass for these offerings I ordered a $2 glass of their house red, and left all of it in the glass. Service indifferent. In a metro area I would have... More

My wife and I ordered hamburgers. The were delicious and huge. It appeared to be a local's place. Excellent service and great looking deserts. Casual dinning.

Good food, good service and comfortable. Stopped by for breakfast; 1. 'classic' with bacon and hot cakes and 2. small biscuits and gravy. The goldilocks breakfast...just right !
