If you have an ID card, whether active or retired, this is a must stop. The sandwiches are good, chowder was creamy, and my wife live the chili with Prime Rib in it. More importantly, they donate a share to the USO and support military families.

Food is always fresh and fantastic. The blt is worth having, extra crispy bacon is my favorite. I eat her multiple times a week. Very good!

The sandwiches made at this deli are really great. They don't skimp on the meat (nothing worse than a sandwich with hardly any meat on it!). The soups change daily, I believe, and are really delish!

You're in for a great treat when you visit Deli 101. They make the best specialty sandwiches on the coast. I tried one of their panini sandwiches and have to say it's something that you will want to experience for yourself. Excellent!

Bright and fun interior with a gift shop. Seating outdoors and in. I believe it's a couple that runs the place. Wife and I both had the BLT & A (avacado). All ingredients are on point. From the mixed greens and Roma tomatoes to the succulent thick-cut bacon. Perfectly toasted bread. Just the right amount of avocado. My only complaint... More

We decided to try this place because it was walking distance from our hotel. The sandwiches were good and the staff was friendly. We'll definitely go back.

Wow was this place unexpected! Truth be told, this little gem is somewhat hidden back from the street and tucked away in a shop front. We stopped there cus we hadda poddy...we were gunna buy a coke to use the facilities, but discovered their policy was to allow use of the bathroom anyway! That was consistent with this place...they were... More

Our deli clerk was the nicest Woman! She told us of a nearby beach to visit where fossils and shark teeth can be found. She listened my young daughters and was so kind to them. The food was good and they have awesome microbrews too. The pickles are amazing crunchy and delicious.

Great Hosts...always pleasant...quick to serve and nice atmosphere! The best selection of hand held treat's that will leave you pleasantly satisfied or in the need to request a carryout because the servings are so generous!

I had 1/2 a BLT + avacado sandwich with a cup of chowder. Sandwich was a bit dry but the bacon was thick and exceptional. The chowder was creamy but lacking flavor. Son had a panini and liked it.

Description
Great soup, salad, and sandwiches! Also serving wine and beer. Our menu is always changing reflecting the freshest foods of the season.--Fighting for Freedom--We may not always support our government’s foreign policy or military interventions, but we have the greatest respect for our military personnel and veterans. Both of our fathers served overseas in World War II, Glenys’ father was in the Navy and my father was in the Army. Also, our daughter Maureen is an Air Force JAG officer and her husband, Colin, flies F-16s.We appreciate the sacrifice our family members make and we honor their service as we honor the service of all of our active military and veterans, particularly those who suffered physical or mental loss and those who made the ultimate sacrifice. It’s the freedoms they fought for that made the opportunity to open Deli 101 possible. With that in mind, we’re honoring our active duty military personnel and our veterans by giving them a 15% discount on every item, every day, and by making a donation to the USO for every sandwich we sell.
