It was a friendly place and had good things to eat in addition to good coffee. There were other places for coffee that I enjoyed more, but this was fine.

So, I really dislike baristas with attitudes and my first and only experience at Manzanita News was attitude-full. I ordered my beverages and sweets and went to pay with a card. Barista: "That will be an extra $.50 for credit card" I love this concept because I think we are to dependent on cards, so I say Me: " What... More

Even The NY Times--in such an out-of-the-way spot. Manzanita News has long been a local, and visitor, favorite. Good coffees, newspapers to read, new art show each month, a few "gifty" items.

An expert hand at making some of the best coffee on the coast. Great place to sit outside if the weather is nice. Morning pastry is nothing to brag about but you go for the coffee.

This coffee shop has all the services one might desire - free wi-fi, a variety of beverages and snacks, a gift shop with a variety of magazines, cards, etc., access to newspapers, and comfortable seating. The staff is very friendly and accommodate any specific drink order - ex. soya milk, decaf, whip cream...

Fine to grab coffee to go. Half the space is taken up by magazines, which didn't seem to make sense. More seating would help. Fifty-cent charge to pay with a card. Poor flow and atmosphere.

They have books, magazines, papers to read and are really good about letting you hang out. The coffee is top notch and their biscotti is some of the best I have had. Dog friendly and good music too.

Nice outdoor seating area, aside from the dog hitching post being too close to some of the tables. The goodies are all wrapped in saran wrap, so they don't look like baked in house bakery goods.

Take a break. Slow down Breath deep the fresh ocean air. Read the news. Find out the latest happening events in Manzanita or neighboring beaches. Find a good cup of coffee or fancy brew. Plenty of handmade bakery snacks to go with as a treat. Then take a warm stroll on the sunny Manzanita beach. See the kites, surf boarders,... More

The coffee drinks here were excellent! The breakfast sandwiches looked amazing. It was a great place to browse while waiting for our coffee drinks. Cute outside seating on nice days.
