The staff was friendly, and the food was good. We ate there for dinner and breakfast, and they were both good.

Black bear has many locations all of which are always busy but consistent. I opt for the chicken fried steak which then came with hash browns and biscuits and gravy. Mega man breakfast here as I couldn't finish it. Coffee wasn't too bitter and they got me out and back on the road again quickly. Good vibes.
Black Bear is our go-to when friends and family are in town. It's good for larger groups as well as small families and couples. The menu is large and breakfast is served all day, so everyone can get what they want. My favorite is the fish tacos, my husband enjoys the chick fried steak. We had a problem one time... More

Black Bear Diners are pretty reliable. I have found that the food is relatively consistent from restaurant to restaurant. It's usually better than an "average" coffee shop, but don't expect fine dining. My egg white omelet was good. My spouse's pancakes were also good. Coffee = good. But, I admit to having a weakness for their biscuits. Always get a... More
