This is a favorite pub of ours, right on the beach. We stopped for early lunch on our way home from a coastal weekend. Tsunami Stout (7% ABV, 50 IBU) has a lot of chocolate/caramel flavors, Kiwanda Cream Ale is smooth & light, Beak Breaker Double IPA is powerful (9.5% ABV, 90 IBU) but very drinkable. Our burgers/fries were yummy... More

This is a busy place - probably at all times during summer months. We were staying at the Inn at Cape Kiwanda across the road and this was the only close restaurant. Got there around 6:30 pm and the wait for a table was 30 minutes. So opted to sit at the bar, no wait, although I think we got... More

One of the best IPAs I've had in a long time (the Pelican Beak IPA). Food was quite good. And the service was excellent. Ambiance is a bit lacking so we ate at the bar - a bit friendlier atmosphere. I will go back, even if just for another Beak.

This was a great lace to stop for lunch on a beautiful stretch of the Oregon Coast. Service was excellent, food was terrific and a good value! The beer was also good and the store up front has a nice selection of T-shirts and knock-knacks.

This restaurant had a constant flow of people. Extra rooms for large groups. Their food was excellent and so was the service. The beer was in typical excellent Oregon micro brew form!! This may even become a destination place to come for the day and have a meal. Just one of the best places I've been in a while and... More

The Pelican Pub and Brewery is always crowded and rightly so. They serve prize winning beers, delicious food with a great ocean-side view. We try to miss the crowd by arriving before the 5 pm dinner hour. On our recent visit we arrived at the perfect time and were seated immediately. My husband and I both had their 'flat bread'... Great view of the brewing process, and very casual. Dining inside or out, self order with a picnic table feel. Staff very friendly, food OK. But then it is a great local flavor.

The locals know it well; but it's enough off the 101 highway that you can miss it if you're not staying on the beach. We've stayed just a mile north of Cape Kiwanda on several occasions and have tried the chowder, burgers, as well as their entrees. All are good, but the fish and chips were out of this world...
