Amazing biscuits although all of the food is amazing. The chicken pot pie is a must try. Also the biscuits with mushroom gravy is heavenly. I haven't had anything here that I did not like. Even a simple biscuit with butter and strawberry jam. Don't let that long line discourage you, it's worth every second you have to wait.

We tried Pine State Biscuits at the Saturday market. They were made there and fresh. They had a crispiness to the bottoms that was perfect. Although we only had them with jam and butter, they were just what we needed. Want to go back and try the biscuits and gravy or the egg and cheese biscuit. Try them you will... More

Original and tasty. Nothing but good things to report. Sometimes the wait to order and limited seating can be frustrating at busy times.

We had to succumb, for our last breakfast in Portland, to the biscuit call. Its not so much a breakfast, as a savory meal early in the day. I had the "Chatfield-no bacon", which is a fried chicken breast, Tillamook cheddar and apple butter - the closest I could come to a breakfast item. It was very, very good. My... More

Was a 5 star breakfast joint nut now just a long line for some bad overpriced food. Hard Biscuits, 2 drops of gravy and a bad attitude from the staff. The drinks were good but the food sucks now.

Don't show up and try to figure out what to order so it fits with what you always order. Be a little daring and try the Reggie... fried chicken on a biscuit with gravy? ... you bet, give me two please. Best breakfast sandwich in town. My wife orders the money ball every time and loves it. We wouldn't drive... More

French toast with bacon jam and bourbon maple syrup...need I say more. Build your own biscuit sandwich allows you to get a breakfast sandwich your way. Go early 9am or earlier. Got in before a big line.

This was my second visit to Pine State Biscuits. It is rare that I visit a resteraunt more than once in a city I am visiting with so many. This one will be a regular stop when I am in Portland. The first time I want customers were lined up out on the street. The second time I must have... More
