I enjoyed eating here last year with my granddaughter. She took French in high school and traveled to Paris with me a few years ago. We both agreed the food was yummy and reminded us of some of the French cuisine we ate in Paris, especially the baguette sandwiches. We topped lunch off with a French pastry. Warning: it can... Love the baked eggs a la francaise. 2 pouched eggs with hash browns, mushrooms, ham and onions. Baked in an oven with grilled cheese on top. Amazing! Also they have many tables outside which enables our dog to sit with us. Fantastic service too!

We went for Mother's day brunch and made a reservation in advance. I informed the person taking the reservation that we'd have a little one with us. When we arrived the table was ready and we were seated right away. Coffee was brought quickly and was delicious. We ordered the bananas with creme for starters, I ordered the brie-stuffed eggs... The atmosphere is very European with an amazing bakery and bread selection. We orders a Colette omelette and corn beef hash Both of these came with a croissant. The croissant was so flaky and came with a lovey jam. The omelet was accompanied by potatoes and squash. The portions are big enough for two people to share. The only negative... More

Such a disappointment. This was not my first visit to Petite Provence, and I may return, but not on a Sunday afternoon. The 40 minute wait was comfortable - no complaints. Once seated we were told they were out of; all pastries, sour dough bread (we later found out) white bread, many desserts, croissants and crepes. How does a French... More

My husband got the pork chops. He enjoyed them but had a hard time keeping his fork away from mine. Then we had dessert! Ya can't... More

We stopped in for lunch and will definitely be back. The smell of fresh-baked pastries hits you right when you walk in the door - you'll want at least one of everything! The crepes are amazing and Provence burger was out of this world with caramelized onions and Brie. I'm hungry again just thinking about it!

My husband and I went there in the morning. This place smells like heaven when you walk in the door. I had what was possibly the best cafe au lait I have ever had. Since it was Easter weekend, I bought my grand daughter a dark chocolate duckling from their display. Thankfully she is generous and shared it with me.... More

Petite Provence is a café/bakery located on Alberta Street in Portland. The area is getting gentrified with quaint little shops and colourful murals. Petite Provence offers breakfast or lunch/dinner with a French/Provencal flavour. I had poached eggs on a smoked coho salmon hash, accompanied by a huge croissant with home-made raspberry compote. My husband had a wangu burger on brioche.... More

Extensive menu and large selection in the pastry case. Breakfast& brunch are my favs, but my neighbors have this as a standard Friday night dinner with wine locale.
