OK, so I don't always order steak at a steak house, and I did not this time either. but when the steak is their specialty, I just had to take a bite. it was wonderful! I did have the Duck. Yummmmm. this used to be a "ruth's Chris" and now is probably the same decor, but half the price for... More

The food was good but the service was better. Patty, our server, was terrific and really made dinner a good time. We had a long day on the road and fortunately the restaurant is attached to the Embassy Suites so it was really convenient.

We ate here twice while staying at the Embassy Suites. There was a problem with the meal on the first night, but on the second night the weather was bad so we decided to give Portland Prime another chance and were rewarded with an excellent meal. The lobster bisque was excellent and the iceberg wedge salad good but would have... More

It's a beautiful restaurant, attached to Embassy Suites. I paid $47 for a sirloin that was average. Good wine selection.

This was our first dinner in Portland. We really wanted some sea food, and they had reservations available. Being Midwesterners who were still on central time, we went at 5:00 p.m. and we were the only patrons in the restaurant. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. It turns out that her sister lived close to where we live in... More

While I have had better service, the food was great and the atmosphere is very cool. You can sit and relax here and enjoy your dinner without feeling cramped. Good steaks.

Located in the Embassy Suites Hotel in Downtown Portland the area surrounding the restaurant seems a bit unsafe in the evening. The happy hour menu provided a number of menu items at discounted prices. We ordered a hamburger medium rare and showed up well done. Seafood salad featured what appeared to be leftover crab that lacked freshness. The salmon was overcooked... More
