We came late on a Friday (like 8p) and the place was very lively. The tables for two are small, and if the staff doesn't space out the dishes, the table becomes very cramped. Our meal came out fast and furious and there was no...More

Good wine list with mostly French and a bit of Pacific Northwest. But if you like foie gras, this was the very best I have ever eaten. We both enjoyed the King Salmon special and it was perfect. The chef at Little Bird really rocks!

I was totally delighted w/ my meal - a sublime ravioli w/ sinful duck cracklings making it sing. My glass of rose also complemented the experience. I am glad that I was traveling alone because this restaurant is BUSY and the restaurant was bursting at...More

Recommended by a local to us and so glad we went! Food was stunning and a beautiful ambience. Mostly couples dining. The fish dishes were superb- especially the chicken crumbled trout ( very large serving for a French bistro. Keep a space for desert!

There is a reason this restaurant is busy every night, it is fantastic. You most likely need a reservation.

This French bistro outshined a famous seafood restraint, an excellent Jalanese restaurant and an excellent Italian restaurant on our dinner tour of Portland. The charcuterie platter for 4 was the best I’ve ever had, featuring small but exquisite servings of liver pate, pork rillon, salmon...More

I've gone past Little Bird for years ... in a very urban, and not very appealing part of downtown Portland. (It's ugly.) But on a Tuesday afternoon, I decided to duck in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The menu is pricey, so if you...More

In Portland visiting our son, daughter in law, and grand baby 👶. Son recommended Little Bird and he was spot on. Our server (Jeff) recommended a couple different bottles of GREAT Pinot Noirs. The first one nice and light the second one a little more...More

While visiting Portland a local friend invited me to lunch at this delightful restaurant downtown. We decided to have the three course, fixed price menu which started with a creamy carrot soup nicely spiced with curry, a dollop of a creamy cheese and nuts. We...More

Looked forward to trying Little Bird so had lunch there on my second day in Portland. Ate at the bar and had the soup of the day--carrot with curry--and an oyster po'boy. Both were very underwhelming, mostly because they mixed way too many flavors that...More

I hosted a group upstairs for a corporate lunch. As we know, heat rises and it became very hot up there. They brought in fans for us. I thought they handled it well.
