We aren't big beer drinkers but we were up late and wanted some munchies. The menu looked amazing! I settled on the caeser salad and the beer cheese soup but could have ordered many of the yummy looking dishes they had. We had the Hefe Fruit and the pear-ginger-apple cider. Both were delightful. My partner ordered the beet & chevre... More

The atmosphere is what you would expect from a brewery. The staff was great and welcoming. Our server was informative on the different choices they have. I tried their Smoked Turkey with potato salad. Good portion and the potato salad was made with red potatoes and tasted homemade! I went with their Hef. Dinner was great and filling, I would... More

Been here three times and impressed three times. Service, food, and drinks were excellent. Parking at times can be limited, but not a large issue.

Had lunch here with 3 friends. The place was crowded. Is very popular. We each selected an IPA. I had a less hoppy one Replay IPA, that was really good. We also each had a sandwiches and all were happy with them. I had the pork shoulder. It was tasty, but it had more fat than I would have liked.... More

I usually get the Salmon sandwich during Happy Hour and 1 or 2 beers. It came with a great salad for a healthy lunch (I used lemons for dressing). The new menu now charges $2 for the salad. (Funny I used to turn down the salad and potato salad and they would offer potato chips even though they were not... More

The food, the beer (Kill Devil Brown) & most especially the people: Griffin, Robbie and Zack, exceeded our expectations, and we are foodies and craft beer aficionados! Don't miss this place on your visit to Portland! Be sure to try the Brussels Sprouts, even if you don't usually like vegetables. Also try the Steelhead and Polenta. Tastebuds are still dancing!... It is with a sad heart that I write this review. We have been to this place numerous times and have always loved the German theme of the restaurant. My wife and I have both looked forward to the sausage plate or the pretzel with mustard. This last trip was disappointing. The menu has changed dramatically and according to the... More

Went with friends on the brewery tour. Learned about the process and the history and enjoyed the samples at the end. My wife isn't much of a beer drinker, but she still enjoyed the tour. It was fascinating time.

Stopped for a quick afternoon pint. Lots of beers to choose from. No problem giving samples. $1 off pints for happy hour. Highly recommend the pretzel for a snack

That summons it up m, really.. Oh yeah, forgot: great service! Perfectly good gastro pub/ brewery. A bit cold inside, (got really nothing to complaint about.) Sending all my recommendations! Go for the beer flights. I had the steak salad, he had lamb burger, both perfect!
