Excellent service, the highest quality food, and prepared to perfection. This place is quiet and could be easily missed if you didn't know about it, but it would be to your loss. My wife has an allergy to garlic and our server coordinated with the chef to insure our meal was made to her preference. To me this shows the... More

we keep coming back to this lovely bistro. The pasta lineup has seemed to expand a bit since last time and that's a very good thing. An Italian friend with us commented " I'd forgotten how good the flavors here are". We ate lots of dished and enjoyed them all. Salads, entrees, Chocolate desserts YUMMMMMM.

It's been quite a while since I visited this little place and the only thing I can really remember is that it didn't much feel or taste like an Italian restaurant. Expensive, smallish portions, a la carte, not really Italian fare. I do clearly remember I didn't ever want to return. Unfair review...Yep. But, that's life in the fast lane.

We were guests of friends who know the Portland restaurant scene. Greeted by the owner, I had scallops as an appetizer and the giant prawns for dinner; raved. Others had a pasta dish and salmon. Very well presented, attentive service, great wine (handsomely decanted). Shall return as this is a superb example of Portland's fine restaurants. Go and enjoy.

A small place with wonderful creative food from fresh ingredients no matter the season. Quiet enough to talk, no window walkers looking in. Giorgio always gracious and attentive, adequate wine list, home made pasta, menu changes from time to time.

Good food and good service at this conveniently located restaurant. Nice selection of pasta dishes and gluten free all home made. Place is cozy and on a corner with lots of Windows. We have a pasta dish, gluten pasta and the fish of the day all where very good. Good wine selection.

Had dinner at Giorgio's with my partner. I had the Arctic char special and my partner had a vegetarian pasta. We both had a salad beforehand. Both meals were perfectly prepared and delicious. The service was also great! Wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

A very limited menu, surly staff, and food so terrible it almost defies description. I had the butternut squab ravioli. The ravioli were tough and leathery; the edges of the ravioli were almost sharp. Way beyond chewy. The squash filling was grainy, watery, and totally unseasoned. Inedible. Husband had the fish special, served lukewarm with flabby fatty skin and not... More

Over the holidays we took the family group of 6 healthy eaters to one of our old time favorites and were pleased to find it was at a very high level. We sat in the cozy bar where we could watch a bit if the kitchen action and commune with our genial and gracious host. Chef Peter Schuh was still... More

For many years Giorgio's was my hidden pleasure. Then it seemed to lose its way in the kitchen. But last night we we went back to see how things had changed and all I can say is wow! We had two starters, the calimari and the scallops. The scallops were huge and perfectly cooked and plated. The calimari was lightly... More
