Portions are large, service was ok (rather long wait for food, but it was busy), food was average (eggplant a bit boring, and not sliced evenly, so it wasn’t cooked evenly), food was rather expensive. Menu is very limited during certain hours of the day....More

Went to Gino's in Sellwood, Oregon to celebrate three special occasions with our daughter, her husband and our grandchild ( 3 birthdays and our 51st Wedding Anniversary). Was asked to go to Gino's since our son-in-law loved the restaurant. Had a reservation, were seated and...More

Came on a Wednesday evening, not that crowded inside, everyone was sitting outside dining. Our waiter didn’t seem that interested in his job, which was getting our orders and serving us drinks. He mentioned that they had recently changed owners, but that doesn’t explain mediocre...More

We sat in the bar for dinner, the bar itself is incredible. Service is very good, drinks were served quickly and high quality. Sauce for mixed shells is awesome for dipping bread, you might need extra bread. Shared ravioli, very good. Wine list is extensive,...More

This is a very good Italian restaurant. I would honestly give it 5 stars except, the menu was very limited and it only had a few choices. I got a pasta with mushrooms and some bean. I’m not sure what it was completely but it...More

I saw this old building and wondered what the bar might look like. I am so glad that I walked in to have a look. This place has a restaurant and a bar section. The decor is lovely. But the old wooden bar is a...More

I love this place! We have never been disappointed and have been coming here for about 12 years. The mussels are fresh & are the best you'll find south of Coupeville (where they are harvested) WA! Order them as an appetizer, or in this case...More

Marc and Debby Accuardi opened Gino’s Restaurant and Bar February 27, 1996; their idea was to have a place where families, friends, and neighbors could gather for quality food and wine. That simple idea has turned into the reality that Gino’s is today. When you walk through the copper metal door and you’re greeted with the warmth of a century old oak wood bar, you know you are someplace where you can relax. Marc and Debby are proud to join other Portland restauranteurs who believe in supporting sustainable farming, by using only the freshest seasonal ingredients available. We think you will agree this extra step only enhances your dining experience at Gino’s. Some of our favorite purveyors include 47th Ave Farm, Your Kitchen Garden, Imperial Stock Ranch, Piedmontese Beef, Carlton Pork, Peak Forest Fruit, Pacific Seafood, and Miss Zumstein.
