Wow what a great find! We ordered several appetizers (pot stickers, won tons, and spring rolls) and a chicken dish and they were fabulous. This restaurant specializes in modern / northern Chinese food. We really enjoyed this little restaurant with great wait staff and a menu with some really unique and interesting options. This place was busy but coming for... More

We really enjoy Shandong's handmade noodles, hadn't visited in a year, so with friends passing through town, suggested a visit there on a sunny day. Shandong is in a convenient location close to I-84, but be aware that parking can be a challenge. There is a large parking lot adjacent, which you MAY NOT use (it's for the community center... More

with a group of 5, we had 6 dishes total.....5 dishes were pretty good, with the lone exception being the lo mein....the dry braised green beans TASTED good but were hardly dry.....Mongolian beef was good but one only got the spicy bites when eating the whole chilies, as the rest of the sauce had no bite......the pork belly noodle soup... I have to say, I was sadly disappointed by this place. I lived in China for a few years and Northern Chinese cuisine is among my favourites. Incidentally the only item I really enjoyed were the very Shanghainese Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings). Everything else we had was just okay, with the exception of the vegan potstickers which were downright... More

I've been to this place a few times. Very popular, has a better bar than most Chinese places -- some very interesting cocktails. Last visit was a family Christmas dinner with eight people. The place was packed with folks awaiting tables as well as those taking out food, attesting to its popularity. Fortunately, we had made a reservation. We got... More

Saying it is Northern Chinese makes you expect something different than your typical carryout Chinese spots. And it is. We only have a few dishes but all were surprisingly fresh and not over sauced or loaded with mystery things. Eggplant is simple and plentiful enough for 4 people to share for sure- we took some home. Pieces aren't mushy and... More

original northeastern china dumplings, unique and tasty takes on pork belly, not too expensive, worth a trip. service is hit/miss, but if taste is your thing, drop by... kind of hidden in the hollywood district, but easy to find if looking for it.

That is about all I can say about it. I went with several friends and not a one made mention of the food. Not good, not bad, not otherwise. And in my group if there are no food comments that is unusual. Service was attentive. Noise level was high...lots of hard surfaces. Prices were fine for the location. Parking is... More

They got stuff from northern China there. A rarity in the US. It more noodly and heavier. This place is good.
