Hungry and a bit grumpy, we stumbled upon this place for a Friday night fast meal. One never knows what to expect when you stumble in, and so we ordered and sat down to wait. We noticed a constant stream of customers, many greeted by name. The plates of food here are HUGE! We ordered 3 different dishes and all... More

On a cold, dreary day we were passing through this NE Portland neighborhood, and hoped that Du's would be open for us to try for the first time. Luckily, we arrived just after they opened at 11 a.m. so they were not yet crowded, as it's a tiny place with only a few tables and is a popular place with... More

I'm a 60yr. old woman, living in NE PDX, and I've been going to Du's well as often as I can. Monday nights I don't cook so I can watch football. Du's is by far the best tasting Teriaki I have ever had and the people are just down home and as nice as can be. It's becoming a "Portland... More

Arguably the best teriyaki in town. It is also one of the few that is now run by the second generation. From the cheerful greeting by Tony, until your tummy is full, this is the place to get your dinner... Monday through Friday. If you're hungry on the weekend-- you better start cooking.

The best chicken teriyaki, plain and simple. Small little joint and it can get very busy. Worth the hassle of trying to park. Oh and the dressing on the salad.... It's the bomb!! So good you could drink it.

We've been going to Du's for years for their yummy grilled teriyaki chicken. But it's not just the good food that keeps us going, it's the people at the front. Always smiling and remember their customers and their orders, asking after each person with every visit. That is what keeps me coming back to Du's.

Not a lot of selection, but it is well prepared and quick. Friendly service. Good selection of fountain and bottled sugared beverages. The sauce and dressing are very good and you can buy each in bottles and get refills at a reduced price.

We stopped here totally at random while visiting Portland on vacation. We were driving by and could smell the food and figured if it tasted as good as it smelled, we have nothing to lose. The place is tiny and has like 4-6 tables so when it is busy, you are likely not getting a place to sit. There were... More
