Came in to kill some time. Was amazed at their selection of spirits! I did not eat here, but service is spot on and they do have a very tempting menu. If you're in DT Portland and are looking for a great drink spot.. Look no further. Came here on o a Friday night..wasn't too busy. Great chill time

Best scotch eggs ever! We had several appetizers here, their scotch eggs were possibly the best I've ever had, stuffed jalapenos were spicy & perfect and the Shepard's pie croquettes were a huge hit! We'll definitely go back for more!

Awful service, food. Only thing decent was the Shepard's pie. Everything else was far too hot (spicy).

I like this place for the daily happy hour with food and drink specials, for having a good crowd on hand for Timbers games and for lively late night. In a town where every beer seems to be a quadruple-hopped triple IPA, having a few options like Guinness and Smithwicks is a nice change. No fear though -- they have... More

I was on my way to meet friends when I came across Paddy's. The bar layout is set up with a large wall, library style complete with ladder, of libations. Definitely a place for a good Irish whiskey or scotch, plus had a few rums to my liking. I came back again the next night for a Smithwick's and Irish... More

This is a great pub with plenty of atmosphere, and it wasn't particularly busy for a weekday lunch. My wife and I went there for lunch and watched rugby on the telly. Service was good and the food was plentiful, but not exceptional. Prices were a little higher than I had hoped ($27 for Sheperd's Pie, Chicken Curry and an... More

Ever since our honeymoon to Ireland my hubby is very critical of how his Guinness is poured. They actually do it right which makes this a frequent stop for him.

Arriving in downtown Portland on a Sunday evening and looking for food . . . we came upon Paddy's, offering outdoor seating on a beautiful evening. We found out within minutes that there was only one person working the entire restaurant . . . bar, inside tables, and patio. Nevertheless, we stuck with it, went inside to order and held... More

Enjoyable food.We had the fish and chips. The decor was a bit "wanna be" Irish with the waitress wearing a kilt?

Food is terrible, my guess is this restaurant only survives on tourists looking for to grab a beer, or sit on the patio as the location is downtown right in front of the river.
