Used to be the best place in town, even better than places in Portland but the last three times we have visited it has really taken a turn south. It's taken forever to get seated, once seated the service that used to be amazing is now almost rude, my food has had to go back because it's wrong, one thing... More

This Klondike is located a block from the Columbia River in downtown picturesque St. Helens, Oregon. It's the best restaurant in town. Good eats, great service. Highly recommended.

I was in town for the Halloweentown festivities (which was a whole other disappointing ordeal) and decided to stop in here for a drink while I decided whether or not to go back to Portland so I could enjoy my last day of vacation. It took awhile for the bartender to take my drink order, only to find out that... More

We had been driving a while and decided to stop along the river in St. Helens. The Klondike Restaurant looked to fir the bill. Rustic tavern and we got friendly service. We got soup and a club sandwich and both were good. It looked like most people chose sandwiches since they are featured.

Burgers and salads are pretty good. Pretty disappointed in the grade of meat they utilize for steaks and prime rib. Lots of fat and gristle. What they charge is not commensurate with what you get.

We had dinner meals, sandwiches, and burgers. Everything was amazing!! The service was fantastic as well! I really can't say enough nice things about the Klondike! We also ordered take out one night, and it was ready in 20 minutes. Just amazing!

This is one of the few actual sit down restaurants in the town of St Helens (at least that I saw). Staff were very nice and enjoyable to talk to. Food was just ok. Prices were reasonable.

The feel was good, the clan and corn chowder tasty. The staff was friendly. The highlight of my trip to Halloween Town. Don't. Come on a Monday unless you are coming for this restaurant, then come everyday.

This place is one of the few food places in the downtown area. The food while it will not make you sick is not one of those places you want to go back to as well. The food tastes frozen and the quality is subpar. The only interesting part is this used to be a hotel back in the day... More

Sorry to hear of your experience. I am actually surprised. A big percentage of our food is scratch made. Considering our other reviews, I hope that this will not happen again. More

out of four dishes served at dinner 3 were cold, should have been hot. One was fish, Ugh, cold fish. It was a 50th anniversary dinner which we talked about in front of our wait person. NO Response. Food was expensive and it took about 30 minutes before we ate anything. Not an enjoyable experience. Not only that, the wait... More

Sheila, I am sorry to hear about your experience. I have interviewed my staff and my partner in regards to this and they are flummoxed. We can understand when food is cold, that the experience is not good. My staff, usually gets very nice reviews on service as we train for it a lot, but I would admit to a... More
