Our dinners were all good. Steak, cod and meatloaf. The service was very good. Not an exceptional experience but certainly a good value. Enjoyable dinner.

We came here for a dinner, and everything was perfect! The drinks were delicious, and we shared a salad and entree and it was enough food. Wonderful service and ambiance. One of my longtime favorites.

This restaurant is just the type of place Salem needs to revive its downtown. The atmosphere is trendy yet subtle and intimate. I have been here several times and the waitstaff has always been prompt and friendly. The food is a mixture of greek influence with a touch of refined American home cooking. There's stroganoff, macaroni, flat breads, and the... More

Hey been here for lunch many times but recently tried the restaurant for dinner. I was impressed with the dinner options and the service. Loved the appetizer on the house and my friends enjoyed the variety on the menu.

The Amadeus Cafe, located in a massive storefront in historic downtown Salem is the kind of place one goes for a quiet, not-pricey business lunch. The space is an amazing early 20th century shotgun, with deep windows and a lofty ceiling, but they haven't really made the most of it. It's a vacuous place, sparsely furnished with fake-nice modern chairs... More

My husband and I recently had dinner at Amadeus Cafe to celebrate our anniversary, When I called to make the reservation a few days earlier I mentioned that we were celebrating that occasion and hoped we could get a good table. That must have been noted on the reservation, because when the host greeted us, she said, "Happy Anniversary!", and indicated... Food & service are consistently of the highest quality. We have sampled many of the menu items and have not been disappointed. They offer Paleo and Vegetarian meals on the menu. The wait staff are very helpful.

Love the look of the place, in the heart of downtown Salem. We were told after we were seated that outside drinks "were not ok". My Wife had just got a coffee. Folks, we're in coffee Capitol, nor does your restaurant have a sign suggesting not outside drinks.. Right off the bat, wasn't too excited about that. Waitress was nice... More

We met another couple for Dinner at the Amadeus Café. I ordered the "Baseball Cut Sirloin" medium well for $28.00. It was delicious, lender and easy to cut. Other members of our party ordered the "Stroganoff" $24.00 and was told that it was some of the best Stroganoff they have ever had. The "Le Mac" $15.00 which is a blend... More
