Our family has been going to the Elderberry for MANY years and just made our reservations for the 4th year of staying at the Elderberry while visiting family in the area. The owners, both past and present, have always been accommodating for us. We enjoy the casual, friendly atmosphere and the food is wonderful. Looking forward to another great stay... More

In my youth. Elderberry Inn used to be THE place to stop for a meal on the way to the Oregon Coast. Time has not been kind to this restaurant, which is LONG overdue for a major makeover...beginning with the staff! The Food: Nothing special, even when it arrives at your table warm. The Staff: Long overdue for retirement. Tired... More

Have been up and down between PDX and Seaside many times and never stopped here. Now finally have visited this monument to Americana: this piece probably hasn't changed in 60 years. Fabulous burgers and old-fashioned shakes, and great onion rings.

Stopped on the way back from Seaside. Older place with lots of charm. Staff was very warm and friendly. Food was what you would expect if you were visiting your grandmother. Simple and good. Eaten at Camp 18 many times on the way to Seaside but think I've found my new favorite stop.

We drive often from Hood River to Seaside and always stop at another large restaurant nearby for a meal. Today that restaurant had a long wait so we decided to find something else. We'd never tried this restaurant so decided to try it. This is where we'll be stopping from now on! Food was excellent! Homemade and tasty. Chicken Fried... More

All in all, a great experience because Camp 18 was closed, again...as is often the case. Eldeberry Inn was open and crowded and I think they may have been slightly understaffed, not expecting the closure of Camp 18. We sat in the lounge and were welcomed immediately. We each had a half pound burger and fries for around $8 each... More

Driving back from the coast we decided to bypass a more famous nearby restaurant because of repeated slow, bad service, and instead try The Elderberry Inn. We're glad we did!! Super friendly, good service and a great breakfast!!The bacon is about the best I've had....huge portions.....your tummy will thank you!!

Right off the interstate to/from the coast, the Elderberry is a sort of quirky throwback that is worth a visit. Driving from Cannon Beach and hungry we took a chance on this place and were glad we did. Comfortable, good service, very good comfort food and reasonable prices.

We must of had three meals here over the weekend. All were good sized, good tasting and the service was good as well! The new owners have done a great job transitioning a landmark restaurant in the coast range!

A spontaneous lunch stop with no advance information by 3 retired couples, who had clam chowders, hamburgers, and BLTs, each among the best (and largest) ever. I'd remarked in advance not ordering soups because the bowls are always so small - until Elderberry Inn. The atmosphere is perfect rural, very clean, lots of knotty pine and booths, old photos and...
