I don’t understand why it got so many got reviews. Pad Thai was dry as well as rice. Salad dressing and fish sauce was awful.

This is a busy place near dinner time. Locals must know something. No dine in, all take out orders. I was staying nearby in a hotel and was tired after long day of motorcycling. Not even familiar with Thai cuisine. I ordered the sesame beef...w/ rice. Was absolutely delicious. Also shared a sticky rice dessert with mango. Very good. Previously not acquainted with either food, but would come back for more if in the area. Main order around $10-$12 in ample portions. Lot's of food, but so hungry I ate it all!More

In this time of Covid I needed to host a dinner, virtually. This meant having a delicious dinner with peoples preferences all delivered to different houses at the same time for a zoom meeting last night. The owner of this restaurant graciously set it all...up, arranged for her son to do the deliveries right on time. The meeting and everything executed perfectly with happily fed participants. I can’t thank the staff enough for being so flexible and on time with compliments to the chef. All the arrangements were made with 2 short phone calls.More

Fortunately and unfortunately I live within walking distance of Montiras. Each visit is great. The food is always of highest quality, fresh and colorful. The team is friendly and the service is fantastic. Can always count on a great meal.

We've long wanted to try this recommended Thai restaurant in The Dalles and finally got the chance. The food is so good and looks so inviting. Portions are a bit large, but take home option is available.

Located at the edge of downtown. We ordered to go and the restaurant was packed and busy on a weeknight. We ordered Pad Ka-Prow(a popular dish of ground chicken with green beans, bell peppers, onions, and essence of basil leaves and garlic). So delicious and...great with rice ! We also ordered a steak dish which was very good and the Thai cucumber salad in a tangy spicy sauce that was refreshing. The wait was very long but the food was very good and satisfying. Recommended.More

The two of us were both satisfied with our meals. I had fried fish with lots of summer vegetables (see picture), and my wife was pleased with her Pad Thai (although missing the traditional chopped peanuts). Service was a bit confused and erratic, though, not...for lack of positive attitude, so I'm optimistic. However, the air conditioning was on ICY. We had to get jackets AND move from a drafty booth to a table by the window just to handle the temperature.More

For such a small town, The Dalles is lucky to have a Thai restaurant of this caliber. The hostess was friendly and eager to ensure guests had a great experience. My waitress was also friendly and offered up a ready opinion after I had whittled...the choices down to two possibilities. Her opinion was spot-on and a delicious Pad Prik King meal was had.More
