If you appreciate fried fish and chips, I encourage you to check out The Old Oregon Smokehouse. My meal was cooked as I waited and it was served piping hot. This place is not fancy and from looking at the exterior, some might even call it a dive. Don't let that stop you😎

Visited the Cheese Factory and then headed across the street with friends for lunch. Four of us enjoyed orders of clam chowder and fish and chips. WOW. Hot. Fresh. Tasty. This is a really good place to enjoy fish and chips. Don't be fooled by the signage out front and the building. This food was really good.

Order at the register then sit and wait for your food. No frills, good seafood. We got the halibut and chips, salmon and chips, prawn and chips, shrimp cocktail, and a chowder bread bowl. The chowder bread bowl was so delicious. Clam pieces large enough to be identified and thick creamy chowder. The bread top and insides were toasted and... More

We've eaten at this place before and have been very happy with the food. It's conveniently located right across the highway from the Tillamook Cheese Factory. It's kind of a small place and not real flashy, but the food has been very good and plentiful. However, this time we caught them at the end of a very busy day and... More

After reading the mostly glowing reviews of the Clam Chowder, I was all set to eat this and love it. Unfortunately I was sorely disappointed! Not much flavor and super thick like paste. Cannot recommend. However ordered the fried oysters and chips and they were delicious. No complaints there. Will go back and try the crab melt next time. Looks... More

Always a popular request when we have out of town guests! My mother refuses to spend the weekend without the promise of the halibut or the clams or the prawns...

I stopped for lunch on my way out of town, drawn by rave reviews. It was crowded, no place to sit, but eventually a spot opened up. Shared a table with other folks. There was a glass case filled with interesting seafood, including what looked like crab cakes. Ordered an oyster burger. It was okay, not amazing. Nothing came with... More

This little "dive" place across from the Cheese Factory was highly recommended by several locals, so we tried it for dinner while in the area. A few thoughts: The good: --The seafood was definitely FRESH (though ask the employees what they recommend because they had strong opinions about their own dishes) --The place is very laidback and small---about 4 tables... Stopped by the Old Oregon Smokehouse for lunch while traveling through Tillamook and was surprised at how good the food was. I love clam chowder and thought I'd try their chowder and was a little disappointed in it. Tasted more like potato soup with very little clam taste. However, it was probably better than 80% of the clam chowder you... More

Don’t drive by this place, without stopping for lunch! I have to admit, we sailed right on by. Other reviewers have indicated it is right across the street (highway 101) from the Tillamook Cheese Factory, and that is exactly the truth. There is faded mostly white sign with red lettering on an rusted pole that stands about 15 feet tall... More
