My husband went there for the first time this week, He said Nothing was good, other then the side salad was just ok, Beef noodle soup, not good, Mashed potatoes, not good, He ordered the New York Steak, He said it had a big piece of grissle running through it, The Meat was very tuff, And the fatty sides tasted... We ate at The Rendezvous every night of our stay in Oceanside. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful about my needing a gluten- free menu. We felt very comfortable in the restaurant and the staff was very friendly!!

From the outside, The Rendezvous looks like one of those places your mother would not want your father to go. I have skirted it, even crossing the street, not a few times, until recently. I overheard some people talking at the Farmer's Market, (and you know what kind of people go to Farmer's Markets) saying when their grown up kids... More

Arrived around 6:45 pm. Walked in, there was no one to be seen except a woman doing paperwork at one of the tables. We waited and waited. Picked up a menu and looked at it. Waited long enough to decide what to eat. Continued to wait. No one ever came out, so we left. No wonder the place was dead.

We dined her with 15 other people in our group. First, don't go to the web site "menu". I believe someone is trying t sabotage this restaurant. The owner has been trying to get the site to remove it without success. The true menu is very good. I had the grilled oysters which were delicious and the clam chowder is... More

The Rendezvous is a small town restaurant bar. Service was on the slower side. It was taking while for the waitress to take order so I popped over to the bar side in hopes of getting a drink while I waited and noticed there was no staff there either. A patron mentioned that my waitress was also the bartender. I... More

I was pretty pleased with the food. Service was slow. The waitress was so busy sitting at a nearby table chatting with other patrons that the cook was the one who finally brought our food.

the restaurant has seen better days and looks like it has fallen on some hard times -the food was ok- the clams were very tasty and fresh. The staff was friendly and service was quick.

Start by understanding that Tillamook is a sad little town that is somewhat run down and with dirty streets - sort of unkempt. Rendezvous fits right in. The restaurant itself was reasonably clean - nothing to write home about. Our server was the only one in the place and provided competent if not notable service. Getting a refill of iced... More

Used to be the Big Cheese Restaurant - about the same fare as 1966. Except the coffee isn't a quarter anymore!
