My husband and I were visiting Mount Hood and stopped at the Cascades Dining Room for lunch. A buffet lunch was offered and included two hearty meat dishes (pork with apples or beef), vegan vegetable soup, salad bar with pasta and potato salads, fruit, cheese,...More

If you've seen my review of Timberline Lodge, you already know that the entire place is incredibly beautiful in and out. Th restaurant has some tables with great views of the mountain, but the food is great no matter where you sit!

We had two meals in the Cascade Dining room. Dinner was wonderful, Pacific oysters, mushroom pasta, and flat iron steak. We were so full we didn’t make it to dessert. The server was attentive and pleasant, and knew the menu. Brunch buffet the next morning...More

Excellent food and service. Top notch. Albeit somewhat expensive. A great place to enjoy and view and a wonderful meal. As noted expensive, but worth the price.

This is the kind of restaurant that deserves your total attention. Put the phone away, Savor the menu, listen to recommendations from your server, and enjoy thoughtful conversation with your companions. The menu is diverse and celebrates Oregon and its worth it.

When we visited Timberline at Mt Hood, we had a wonderful lunch that included most anything one would want. Where you want desserts soups, salads and meats it was excellent. The dinning experience was as good as any. We loved this restaurant

What an historic place with great views. The service was 1st class too. Now about the food. It is a Sunday Brunch, the dinner time brunch. The food was not up to the atmosphere or service, the salmon salad was by far the best one...More

The cascade dining room is the only option for breakfast at the Timberline Lodge. Both a buffet and ordering from the menu are available. The continental breakfast from the buffet is about $14 and includes pastries, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, and granola. Surprisingly, butter and jelly...More

A pioneering spirit of craftsmanship paired with a deep-rooted connection to the region inspires Timberline's culinary program. Timberline is at the center of Oregon's bounty, surrounded by mountain streams and a plentiful ocean teeming with fish, rolling fields of fresh and organic produce and locally-raised livestock and poultry. All tended by producers with a common goal. Chef Jason Stoller Smith and Timberline's talented culinary brigade share this vision and invite you to "Taste Oregon" in the Cascade Dining Room.
