Stopped here for a late lunch. Only one person was working. Every time we asked a question during ordering she would excuse herself and do something. The burger was small and over cooked. I ordered crinkle cut fries (which fries are separate), they tasted good, the serving was super small. I spent $10.25 and left hungry. The food tasted good,... More

Coming back from Spokane on 97 looking for a place for lunch. Found this place on Trip Advisor and we are happy we stopped. Definitely a locals place. Food was good and staff was very nice. We would stop again.

I love the Gooney burger and spicy fries with secret sauce. They have a good selection of beers, too.

Great prime rib on Saturday night! The place was definitely a local hangout and everyone was very friendly. They had a good selection of bottled beers and the atmosphere was great.

And the house-made potato chips and French fries were every bit as good as the locals said they were. Super friendly staff.

Wasco is extremely small and even though your choices are very limited in highly recommend coming here. Friendly service, wonderful fresh French fries and delicious special fries sauce!

There was a little bit of the atmosphere of "Deliverance" in the restaurant and the attached Goose Pit Saloon, but the service was fine (we were the only diners there at 7:30 PM). As said in the title of this review, the food was OK. We both had burgers;how much damage can a cook do to a burger? It was... More

We've been to the Goose Pit many times. The service and food are always great. Our favorites are the Gooney Burger (burger w/bleu cheese & bacon) and the Pub Steak. And you have to have the homemade potato chips!

A local told us about this place. We knew it was going to be OK the minute we walked in because every farmer in the valley was there. The food is all prepared there. Even the french fries are cut fresh as you order. They even make their own potato chips. If you are looking for the Ritz this ain't... More

the outside was rather questionable but it was recommended by a local establishment. Was fantastic! Food was really good and waitress very nice. Plan on making it a regular stop to meet friend as it is located ideally for us to meet. (halfway for each) Apart from that I love Eastern Oregon, scenery very beautiful and good people.
