Went for fresh food ... ordered Manhatten chowder & steamer clams. The soup was reminiscent of a can of unseasoned stewed tomatoes & maybe a tablespoon full of clams. No real vegetables of substance besides the diced tomatoes. Steamer clams were in a nondistinct broth--could taste the raw white wine & something that was used--it was not butter. NO fresh... More

Great service, great fish - so fresh! - and the owner is available to talk about the local fishing and about Yachats in general

I had the specialty chowder which I will definitely have when I come back! Also my friend had the fried oysters which I tried, and they were tender and delicious.

I alway enjoy the food at this colorfully painted diner. Luna serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the summer there is outdoor seating. I usually get the Seafood Omelet (shrimp, halibut and scallops) or the Huevos Rancheros served with polenta. Both are tasty options for breakfast.

This is another of our favorite places. The variety of fish they use for their fish and chips, fine!

Whenever we visit Yachats we eat here several times. Whatever batter recipe they use to fry cod and other seafood is the lightest and tastiest I have ever had. This is a very cozy pleasant place to dine any time of the day. And you can purchase fresh fish to prepare at home. We love it there!

I loved it - fresh and filling. Entire family enjoyed meal including my difficult children. We returned for breakfast and... More

Our repeated visits to Yachats are not complete until we have at least one meal with Luna! This trip we joined guests in the outside gazebo for lunch and enjoyed the best clam chowder we've ever had!!!!

Exactly the kind of dining experience you expect in a small beach town. Laid back kind of place where you're comfortable wearing your hoody and rain boots. The halibut was extremely fresh, the fries hand cut and the staff was super friendly.

This little cafe was suggested by the motel we were staying at. Owned by a local fisherman, the food was fresh and delicious. Prices were standard for fresh seafood but not overpriced like some ritzy places. Hometown atmosphere.
