There is plenty of parking behind the building and across the street. It is handicapped accessible. There is a bar as well as a private party area. They take reservations. I hear that you should definitely reserve on the weekend...Friday & Saturday nights. We went at 7:30 pm on a Saturday night, called ahead, but we could've walked right in.... More

Quaint, pleasant. , comfortable place for dinner. The sampler dinner gives you a nice taste of their smokehouse cooking. Our waitress, Emily, was sweet, considrrate, and we'll skilled. She made our evening extra special.

We had been here before but we came this time for the cheesesteaks. While the other three in our party had them I decided to go with one of the specials, the burnt ends.... OMG I loved them. They were so delicious. So I wholeheartedly recommend the burnt ends special.

This area has an abundance of pizza places so it is nice to have a place that serves a menu of barbecue, meats and other fare. We enjoyed the cheesesteak nachos for an appetizer. My husband had the wings and said they were tender and meaty but the buffalo sauce on them was just okay. I had a special of... More

My adult family of 7 went on a Saturday night for dinner. We had a reservation and were seated immediately, even though the place was packed . Entering through the bar, you don't get the best first impression of this lovely old building. You do get the barbeque smell from the front porch, so you don't care about the surroundings.... More

We had heard lots of hype about the great smoked meats so we were really looking forward to dinner here for a friend's birthday. Maybe the hype had set an unattainable expectation or maybe it was an off night, but we found the food to just be ok. We ordered the Ruben dip as an appetizer and got a meal... More

Went for dinner with my two friends. We heard the food was good so we decided to try it. Made a reservation and when got there, a little early, they sat us right away. Had the Burnt Ends (Thursday's dinner special) as there were still some available on Friday. They were out of this world. Our waitress, Lorraine was great,... More

You get a good feeling when you see/smell their on-site smokehouse. Adding to that is the restored tavern dating back to the 1700's.. Go for their barbecue...it's special. 3 sauces are served on the side but the meat is great without any additions. Thursday night offers "burnt ends"...WOW! Also there is an adequate selection of craft beers, with several on... More

Historic Building in Point Phillips. Previously it was a country hotel, closed several years ago. Was reopened by new owner. Now serves freshly smoked meats. Extensive menu. Nostalgic building

I cannot say enough great things about PPH! I recently held my sisters bridal shower in their back room (21 people). The staff was wonderful. Everyone was very helpful, polite, and more than willing to make sure we had a nice time. Their menu has something for everyone. The bride is a vegetarian, which proved to be challenging when trying... More
