Incredible Italian food. Great service. Byob is awesome. Ravioli in rose sauce my favorite. It can get a bit loud but thats part of its charm.

Went with local friends, who tag it a "go to place". But this is not a destination restaurant. Very small, congested and noisy. Casual Italian with very broad menu; no dish was outstanding. Former pizza joint (?) in very small strip of stores off busy road -- tough parking (small lot in back). But locals seemed pleased and staff was... More

Get the special. Frankie makes it while you wait. BYOB, outside seating in season, waitstaff are excellent.

Have gone there with my family for several years and we have always had an excellence meal. It's a BYOB and the space small and loud but it's well worth going there. The staff and service is very good. When the weather is nice they do have 3 or 4 outdoor tables

Our favorite go to byob! Frankie and staff are friendly and accommodating. Food is south Philly deliciousness. Best bruschetta, panzanella salad, eggplant parmesan, pizza...Cozy and small so you usually need a reservation or sitting at counter is often available.

Not a fancy place, but wonderful authentic Italian food and a broad menu. The bronzino over sauteed veggies was delicate and heavenly; traditional chicken parm was outstanding. Also ordered the salad with meatballs, and found the single best restaurant meatballs I've ever had. We were there on a Wednesday night, which is when there is an opera singer who gets... More

Don't waste your money or your time! We parked behind the restaurant (because the strip mall offers only a few options in front of the restaurant) and smelled the stench of the kitchen, and should have judged the restaurant based on that initial impression alone. We would have been happier and more satisfied cooking our own pasta at home. Having... More

Six of us on a Saturday night: the joint was jumpin'. Waitstaff were working very hard, but friendly and attentive. Lots of noise bouncing off hard surfaces. Service was a little slow, but not bad. But the food! Wonderful! Probably the best ravioli I've had in my life. The veal piccata was reportedly delicious. Portions were ample but not overwhelming... More

The Italian food here consists of all the old time Italian favorites. The Italian sauce is thick and hearty and overall good experience
