Always stop here after a ride on the bike, great food, clean and packed with a lot of history. Nice fancy dining area and casual bar area. Big selection of food and beers.

My husband and I arrived for dinner on 1/20/17. My Twisted Tea was served to me with pieces of broken glass around the top of the cracked bottle. Fortunately, I didn't swallow any glass and was able to brush the glass off my lips. The waitress apologized and said she'd tell the manager. She returned with another bottle for me... More

We've been here several times over the years while under several different owners. After being closed for several years and now under new ownership for a couple years, a lost gem has been revived. Bowers Hotel is a great place to grab an inexpensive and tasty meal or to quench your thirst in the cozy bar. They have several craft... More

What a great experience. We booked this Hotel to host our daughter's Baby Shower. We had dined there many times before and always found it to be a five star experience. Today's service was beyond our expectations. The food was delicious, the staff helpful and courteous and the atmosphere delightful. I highly recommend this Hotel for any occasion - be... More

I hesitate to review the Bowers Hotel because I would like it all to myself but that would not be good for them and I would like to see them remain open for the foreseeable future. The staff here is great. They are friendly and make you feel at home. They have an extensive menu of American selections including the... More

My husband and I took advantage of the two meals and share a dessert for $20 Monday special. Today was a beautiful warm autumn day. We went early and were the only diners in the dining room. There were a selection of six different dinners to choose from. A burger, a pasta dish, two fish dishes and sorry but I... More

We enjoy returning to Bowers Hotel at least once a month. The menu is outstanding with the selections available. The specials menu is always outstanding. Servers are very friendly as is the ownership. Easy for people from Reading or from Allentown to take a short drive to the country. Deserts are fresh home made. The coconut-walnut cake is a must.

This place takes you back in time, quiet yet very friendly atmosphere. The food was fabulous! We found this place by accident this time, next time we will be going on purpose! They carry the local sodas, that was a treat! Some of those are hard to find! We are telling anyone in our families that is looking for something... More
