I stopped at the diner for lunch yesterday with 2 other people. I found it to be very clean with a friendly staff. I ordered from the lunch menu and it was huge. I chose the Italian Wedding soup and Chicken Salad. Both were fresh tasting and delicious. This diner has been a local staple for years and has a... More

A group of 8 friends went for a Sunday lunch. Please call ahead if you are a bigger group. Good food and we did not feel rushed even though they were busy.

Nice hometown diner with home cooked food. Good for a quiet lunch. Very kid friendly and amazing desserts.

Was told this place was fare. I thought it was nicer than fare. Would say is compatible to other dinners. Fast friendly. Good place to get sandwiches.

My husband and I stopped here on our way back to Connecticut for a quick meal. So happy we did . The service is very good and the food fast, fresh, and hot. It's a very clean establishment as well and the servers all very pleasant. I was impressed that the manager walked around the restaurant making sure all was... More

It's kind of sad actually. My boyfriend and I go to Hometown regularly. Since renovations they seem to be going downhill. Definitely more focused on being a bar-type restaurant than an actual diner. The last three or four times we have gone the food has been sub-par. I have had to send my meal back multiple times due to it... More

Our favorite spot for breakfast. Since moving to the area this is our go to place. The eggs benedict is fabulous as is everything else. Does get a bit crowded on weekends but the wait is never that long.

The Home Town Diner is now Hometown Breakfast Bar & Grill. Funny thing is they stop serving breakfast mid afternoon. I like breakfast in the evening. If your name is Hometown Breakfast I sort of thought you would serve breakfast. Once you get past the disappointment of no late breakfast you will be happy with your meal and the upgraded... More

I have watched the Hometown Diner grow over the years and I think it has almost grown out of the diner category. It has become a nice restaurant by now. The food is exceptional and is has the best service I have experienced anywhere. Whoever trains and motivates the waitresses does a great job. They have recently put in a... More
