I got a small cone and sundae. Light and fluffy ice cream (custard) decent size, priced on the high side. Limited selection.

Good ice cream with many different selections of sundaes and soft serve cones. This ice cream stand is actually in the shape of an ice cream cone, a real old fashioned road side attraction. The ice cream stand has friendly service. There are several stone tables and benches where you can sit and enjoy your treats.

Big disappointment. Blah flavor, small portion and overpriced. McDonalds hot fudge sundae is a better value. We won't be going back.

This year was the first time I've been to Turtle Twist and I was pleasantly surprised. I had always avoided it because I had heard the ice cream was more of a custard--and I'm not a fan of custard. On two occasions I had a hot fudge sundae. The ice cream was smooth and creamy and the hot fudge was... More

So disappointed. We went tonight (in the pouring rain) because my youngest had won 4 free cones from a school fundraiser prize. When we opened up the envelope, we discovered that the enclosed coupons had expired a month ago! Since we had 4 kids with us who were all expecting ice cream, we asked if it would be possible to... Place is cute, ice cream has gone way downhill. Will not go back. Usually make a yearly trip. But this yr the consistency was almost powdery/mealy when it melted in your mouth. Had little flavor . Quite disappointing.

After driving by this place for several months during their off season, we finally spotted their summer hours and saw they were open at noon. We made a special trip after lunch one hot summer day to sample their ice cream - delicious! I enjoyed a hot fudge sundae with a creamy vanilla custard ice cream. They have special flavors... More

Very much like the roadside ice-cream shops of the 50's and 60's, the Turtle is a great place to go with the whole family after a hot Summer day. They offer all of the classic sundaes, splits, shakes and cones, as well as a boatload of interesting new flavours and creations. The price is very reasonable, the ice cream is... More

Anything here is good, but cake batter based treats are amazing. When it is hot out, this is the place to go in the area. I'm also a fan of Sarris for ice cream, but Turtle Twist is usually the first choice for cold treats around here for us.

They have great ice cream and Italian ice. Flavors of the week change on a weekly basis. I wish it were open all year!
