If you are craving delicious homemade ice cream then you have to go to Chester Springs Creamery at Milky Way Farms. The variety of flavors are abundant and the staff accommodating. Do yourself and your kids a favor and stop in for a delicious treat.

Delicious ice cream — lots of flavors from which to select. The flavors are named for the farm’s cows, who you can see in the adjacent pastures. In these Covid times, they have carefully marked out spaces for the line, which moves slowly, but it’s worth the wait.

My daughter and I came for the PA Ice Cream Trail and enjoyed the ice cream so much, we drove the hour again a few days later with more family. The atmosphere was so sweet. The service was terrific. A group of very polite teens worked hard while they also seemed to enjoy one another and interacting with customers. Chester Springs Creamery is now one of our all time favorites!

Sorry to say but as much as I look forward to coming here, I don't think we'll ever come back again. 😞 We brought the whole family here for a celebratory birthday ice cream and although the line was around the store we waited anyway just to be disrespected at the counter by several teens who had no clue what they were doing and NO supervision!
They took our order and waited until the last two of us to give us a half-assed banana split missing two of the ingredients and a different flavor shake because they ran out of the flavor we wanted even after they TOLD us they had enough, and on top of that, denied they said they had it to the point that another customer behind us acknowledged that they said they had it. After all of this, they tried to charge us for both items after we said no to the fake ass banana split and the shake. They said they had to charge us for the shake but removed the split because they hadn't put it in yet and said there was "NO MANAGER on site!!" None of the "kids" behind the counter could have been over 18, and the kicker to all of this is some kind of "personality" came in and everything came to a grinding halt, he walked behind the counter (major no-no in foodservice) and proceeded to take selfies with everyone causing mass confusion on who was working on who's order. Sorry to say, I love their ice cream but there's plenty of other places that are just as good. Never coming back!

My family and Hawaii friends of 15, ages 4 to 60 plus, received a great robotic milking tour yesterday! It started with a brief history of the Matthews family purchasing their land from William Penn and ended with their efficient robotic milking! Our tour was unique in that most were adults, and the owner tailored it towards this older group, which was phenomenal, and yet, the very young remained fascinated with robotic milking, and having the opportunity to explore the working farm. And of course, we all enjoyed Milky Way Farms’ ultimate ice cream from their creamery! An absolute must to visit!

The grounds of this ice-cream place are pretty as it is a working farm. The ice-cream is all home-made and there are plenty of flavors to choose from. The flavors are all named after the cows on the farm which makes for an adorable flavor list. The ice-cream itself is smooth and creamy and a treat to eat!

We visit here often. Ice cream has great taste. They also have seasonal things including corn maze, pumpkin picking etc. We like it for ice cream and local honey.

We stopped here because my wife and I have been trying different dairies in the area to compare their ice cream. When we drove down the road and turned into their parking lot, we were surprised to see the number of cars in the parking lot.
We walked in and found that they had a large selection of ice cream flavors. We tried the Bordeaux Cherry and Black Rasperry flavors. Both were delightful creamy and delicious. There were huge black cherries in the Bordeaux Cherry.
They also had some fresh produce, honey, and eggs on sale. There is a large indoor space with many tables to sit and enjoy your ice cream. When we were there, they were hosting a birthday party.
Outside, there are benches, rocking chairs, and picnic tables. We sat outside to eat our two scoops and watched a steady stream of cars flowing into the parking lot.

Many different flavors/varieties of fresh ice cream as well as milkshakes, sundaes, etc. Outside the Creamery itself, there are cows, pigs, chickens, even a few barn cats! Definitely worth a little trip.

We visited the place for icecream... it a very nice place with farm animals...
Icecream were delicious, i wanted to try rose petal but it was sold out.. fun place for toddlers and adults

Came here by chance during a soccer tournament. My son wanted ice cream and found it on google. Almost missed it because it’s set back from the road and Waze made us think it’s in the strip mall next door. Very friendly service and delicious creamy ice cream!!!
