My wife and I went here with my daughter and her husband during a weeknight. The location seems to be far from any real town, but the place was fairly full. We were able to get an inside table right away. (There are also outside tables). The food seems to be influenced by British pub fare. I had the short... More

Whip Tavern for Sunday brunch. Opens at 10 am and advice is go at 10:00am ~ no reservations. We three all had the same; A delicious smoked salmon plated with a slice of seasoned pumpernickel toasted, creme fresh? or was it a light sour cream. A little salad and what more can you ask for brunch. The menu was attractive... More

They do not take reservations, so even on a Friday evening, we decided to give this place try. Here is my review by topic. Parking: We had read the reviews and were aware of the situation there. We arrived a little before 5:30 and were able to find a spot right up front. The valets were there and ready to... More

We had a very good meal and excellant service. The beef Wellington was done perfectly, with a crisp crust and tender filet. The duck breast was also delicious. We recommend a visit!

I love the atmosphere at the Whip! Cozy tavern. Big fireplace. Been there many times. The drink menu is awesome - try the house hard cider - delicious. Favorite appetizer: the welsh rarebit. We had the Beef Wellington for our main course this time - excellent. Great flavor and cooked perfectly. They have homemade sodas that we all loved -... More

We always enjoy our visits to the Whip and this was no exception. It was packed at 4pm on a Saturday but we were thrilled to see the addition of valet parking. This will hopefully address the challenges with the difficulty parking there. Nice beer selection at the bar and I was able to sample the hard cider before ordering... More

So, the whip is a bar/restaurant so it is almost always crowded. If you can get there at four or so you are pretty well off. The whip is kinda in the middle of nowhere. Parking was pretty bad until they hired someone to do Valet parking! Their food is always good no matter what you get. Two of my... More

Sigh.....I really wish they could buy some additional property to ease the parking issue. Good food and drink but not worth the stress. Go during off hours!
