Excellent food and great service at this restaurant. If you are not wanting a large meal you have an option to order from the Pub menu. We always enjoy sitting on the veranda when the weather permits.

We stayed in East Berlin, Pennsylvania at a great B&B called the Betchel Mansion while traveling north for a family reunion. I made reservations thru Open Table for Sidney Restaurant which was nearby. They treated us fantastic starting with free champagne (my husband doesn't care...More
I've heard quite a few people love the upperclass tastes of this restaurant , but it was really overpriced for what you got in my opinion. It's a nice restaurant made from an old house in rural East Berlin,PA. We had the chopped salad and...More
We recently had the pleasure of dining at Sidney. Started with drinks at the bar which had a nice selection of beers on tap. The bar tender was engaged and explained all the drink options available. After drinks we sat in the dining room but...More
A classic, old style restaurant. A very relaxing atmosphere. The server was very friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and elegantly prepared, along with an excellent wine list. This was perfect in the middle of a day of hectic shopping.
Had a family lunch here on St. Pat's Day. Food (sandwiches) were satisfactory as to taste but temp of food was cold. Waiter never bothered to come check so we were left eating barely warm sandwiches. Never took a drink order until we had already...More
Have had dinner here twice. Lovely 18th century tavern setting. Feels like you've stepped back 200 years. Competitive menu and much nicer dining atmosphere than Willoughby Run in Gettysburg, which is a combo restaurant and (mostly) banquet facility. Prompt seating with reservatons. Very good service....More
Nice place with charm. Good service. Menu for lunch was hit and miss. Potato crisp appetizer was excellent. Fresh dip sandwich was just plain bizarre. Almost like a grilled cheese and overpowered by the roasted red peppers. Chicken Caesar salad was just average.
My husband and I made reservations for dinner at Sidney Tavern last night. We like to try "out of the way" places and neither one of us have been to East Berlin, although we live in York. This place was amazing! It wasn't difficult to...More
