The atmosphere is a very quiet, comfortable coffee shop. Relaxing place to get work done or talk with friends. Often there are performers on weekends who sing laid back songs. Great coffee and tea as well as sandwiches. They always have fresh baked goods too (like banana bread and baked oatmeal...yum!)

Today was our first visit to the Folklore Coffee & Company and I hope it won't be the last...(depends on my son's acceptance to the local college... ;-) I had a coffee drink called "Sleepy Hollow" and it was the best I have ever had...Very friendly barista and great atmosphere...Wonderful place!!!

Recently met a friend there for breakfast. Service was quick and the oatmeal was VERY good. I'm not a coffee drinker but my friend said it was quite good, as have other people I know who frequent Folklore. Nice, cozy surroundings. Parking is a bit awkward to find but far from impossible (it's behind the building). This shouldn't keep you... More

You need to order at counter, watch them make your food. They do large parties down the stairs. The food was good. and plentiful

My elf princess hot chocolate was delicious. My husband got a red eye he said was very good also. Lots of people seemed to be enjoying the food also.

Unusual food that taste great. I like the Johny Appleseed sandwich. At first I was not sure but after I am definitely sure to eat it again and again. My daughter likes the 3 little pigs sandwich. I like to try something new but I end up with my favorite. Coffee drinks made to order, can't get better than that.

A business co-worker recommended this as a place to have a lunch meeting. Nice ambiance with chairs and sofas and tables. Few menu options but the options were original and interesting combinations. I got the William Bradford sandwich made with goat cheese, cranberries, turkey on a honey walnut bread. Do recommend as the atmosphere is comforting, no one rushing you... More

I really like this place. One of the best hot chai latte's I have ever had---yes, better than the great Star-people. Somehow, Folklore is cozy while always having plenty of seating. So, bring a friend and your laptop---good coffee and very good roast beef sandwiches, too.
