Had a family dinner the other night here...what a mistake! My husband and I love Clam Chowder, but sent ours back because it was over- thickened and only taste was like flour school glue, made out of flour! He also tried the She- Crab, again like glue. He ordered the scallop dinner: scallops were little (like skates) and dried out... More

Nice restaurant close to Lake Erie. I had the lobster roll, it was just average. It has nice outdoor seating but no view of the lake. The flowers and greenery in front of the restaurant are beautiful.

Visited the Smuggler's Wharf on Erie's bayfront on a Thursday night in late April. To my surprise, the place was packed. Wasn't expecting that for a week night in April. Luckily we had a reservation, and I would recommend getting one regardless of when you visit. You never know what might be going on at the convention center, which could... More

The baked grouper is excellent along with the crab soup. Very abundant portions of sides. The waitress was quite friendly and fast. Hope to return on another day when it's not raining to enjoy the beautiful view.

I liked the pirate theme in the bar. The service was friendly and the food was plentiful. Great place to eat if you're at the conference center! You can see the water from the restaurant so it has great atmosphere!

We eat here often when visiting Erie several times a year. From the great summer nights to the warmth next to the fireplace on a winter's day. She crab soup and Lake Erie perch are a must! Food and service is always excellent. Prices are reasonable. Nice nautical themed restaurant with separate bar with a nice little aquarium. Definately worth... More

Smugglers Wharf in Erie Pennsylvania gives visitors the "beach feel" without having to travel to the coast. Set on Lake Erie, the views and the ambiance are great, but the food falls short of spectacular. Although much more edible than the chain restaurants I would give it about a 3 out of 5. If you are faced with the choice... More

The view and sunset were Beautiful. Didn't have as many options as I would have liked and a little pricy. Clam chowder was good!

We've tried several times but have never had a great experience. Food is poor to average and the service is about the same. Perch was good.
