My wife and I have always gone to Roots for seafood, but our visit on 12/12/17 was by far the worse. I ordered the deep fried haddock which was terribly overdone and needed a jackhammer to cut it. My wife ordered the Niagara platter which...More

We stopped yesterday around 2pm. We waited almost 10 minutes at the hostess station and no one ever came. There was one other couple seated and their drinks where empty and never seen a waiter so we left.

We enjoyed our meals here - two of us chose pasta dishes, the other chose a hamburger. We were all happy with the taste and the portions. It's a pleasant place to eat, staff is attentive and friendly. We would definitely return.
