I met up with 2 friends at about 6pm on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy but they were able to immediately clear a table for us. Initially, I thought it seemed a little loud (yes, I know it's a sports bar) but I had no trouble hearing our conversation. This Arroga's is laid out differently than the one... More

I usually get the wings & fries here. They used to have really good specials but now it's just overprice chicken nuggets with sauce. My pet peeve are bars/restaurants that don't put the prices of their drinks on the menus. This is one of those places. The servers didn't know the prices of the drinks when asked. When I asked... Arooga's is my favorite sports bar chain in the Harrisburg area. We've visited several of the locations multiple times, including the one in Hershey. This location is different from the other three we've tried: more TVs, with a really long bar facing the wall instead of one that wraps around. I love the atmosphere here, even compared to other locations.... More

On a business trip and decided to choose Arooga's for a bite to eat. The menu is extensive, and after awhile my director and I chose our meals. I had the black bean veggie burger while he chose a flat bread something or other. I had a glass of merlot and he had one of the many bears on tap.... More

The food and service have really gone downhill. I've been coming here for a few years but lately the bad service has become too much. My breaking point was reached this week, when I ordered a cheesesteak and they served me a chopped up hamburger on a long bun, and it took 35 minutes to get served. There are better... More

first of all food was good --typical pub food but good atmosphere was messed up. when we walked in there was a.line waiting for seats. you could see multiple tables sitting open after being seated, order taken, food delivered--but no silverware (hard to eat soup or salad). told the waitress, told a server, told another waitress, got up and looked... This is a favorite place of local HS groups and families who like busy loud sports eateries. There is a large beer selection and more food options that you can imaging. Wings are probably the best bet. Food in general is your typical bar and grill faire. On the plus side, we have had good to great service nearly every... More

We visit Hershey from NJ very often (especially in the Winter for the Hershey Bears games). We love going to Arooga's before or after the game. Good food (not for the diet-conscious) and a long list of beers! Very comfortable atmosphere - a lot of TV's showing a lot of different sporting events. We have taken family members (kids too)... Description
There’s never been a place quite like Arooga’s before. How do we know? Spies. That, and because we’re not just some average, run-of-the-mill, sports bar. Nope. We’re a slightly above average grille house and sports bar. That’s right. Our housemade food is prepared by chefs instead of factory workers — it’s better. The housemade bread, wings sauces, salad dressings, the housemade soups. All better. The beer is colder. The TVs, TV-er. You can see every game from every seat. And we mean every game, because we have every sports package available all 365 days of the year on 100's of flat screen tv's between all of our locations. We've got free wi-fi, Golden Tee, Buzztime trivia, and NTN Texas Hold 'em. We've got over 80 menu items under $8.99. And several other items priced over $8.99 for the rich folks. So if you're looking for great food prepared and served by above-average people that prepare and serve great food, you'll find it at Arooga's. If you're looking for fun, you'll find that, too. If you're looking for your boyfriend and/or girlfriend, we haven't seen him and/or her. So there you go, the proof's in the pudding here at Arooga's.
