Gorgeous setting and views, right on the bay of SJDS, like most restaurants here the food is barely average. Due to the setting I'm sure the food costs much more than off beach locations.

Great spot for happy hour drinks at sunset.Beers or Rum and Coke for $1 each happy hour.Nice friendly service. The $2 snacks we tried were not worth the price, so we ate elsewhere.

We ate at this restaurant several times during our vacation in SJDL.
The location with direct beach access is simply unbeatable! There are a few steps leading down to the sandy beach. At least at low tide, because at high tide you can jump straight into the water :) This was perfect because the children could play in the sand while we waited for our food. The restaurant also conveniently has an outdoor shower. The beach chairs cost extra.
The food was very tasty, and I would particularly recommend the various smoothies.
The prices were quite high for Nicaraguan standards, but that is to be expected in a tourist town like this.
I would particularly like to highlight the waiter NADIR, who provided excellent service! During the many months I spent in this country, I have never met a waiter who worked with as much love and attention to the smallest details as he did. Thank you very much!

Our port lecturer aboard the cruise ship recommended a few places to try in San Juan de Sur. Josseline's was our choice. For $36 US, we had two margaritas, fried shrimp, fish tacos, pico de gallo, pinto beans and rice.
The restaurant has two levels and a little child's playground.
Enjoyable lunch

Right on the beach, Excellent seafood and meats. Service good. Early in the morning excellent cappucchino and other coffees. Highly recommend it. Prices tend to be high but worth it.

No better combo than a dining with a beachfront view and delicious seafood plate. We enjoyed their lobster plate that was perfectly cooked. We also had their fish ceviche that was well prepared; however, I hoped that their ceviche could have at least come with tortillas, fried yucca or plantains, or tostones, instead of packaged soda crackers.
Overall, beautiful location, great food, fair price (for tourists) and attentive and friendly staff.

Very poor cocktails - my mojito looked like pond water. You couldn't take a sip without getting a mouthful of rotten mint leaf. When we politely tried to explain to the staff their rude response was "well that's how we make mojitos." They took the mojitos away and still charged us for them?!
Don't waste your money here - head to any of the other (better) bars on the beach.

No loud noise! Staff was great and catered to our every need! Food and drinks were also wonderful! Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to actually enjoy their meal!!

My favorite place for lobster had to come back twice for lobster as it had a fantastic taste and the shrimp cervice was very well prepared. Not as expensive as El Timon but still had the quality of service and the food was better and cheaper.

This beachfront restaurant has a view of the sunset that is as close to paradise as possible. We had a nice dinner with drinks at happy hour and it cost about $90 for 5 of us. Our waiter was very attentive, and quite helpful in recommending certain specialties. I had the seafood stew that was the best seafood mix that I've ever had...very fresh, and just the right amount of spices. If I get back here, this place is number one on my list of restaurants to go back to.

Be far the best restaurant in San Juan de sur, most try the garlic lobster and the whole red snapper so delicious!!! The prices are super affordable there was 8 of us, we order appetizers, 6 had oldsters and 2 whole snappers beer drinks bill only $160!! 100% recommended!!
