Great gelato and some very good flavor choices. Fun dessert or snack. Have tried the Nutella, Chocolate and Crema flavors and plan to work my way through the whole range of flavors.

Who would have guessed there is authentic gelato in San Juan del Sur? Three scoops is not enough to try all the tempting flavors. A cup is a good choice because it melts quickly in the warm weather. We had chocolate, mint, coffee and nutella and they were all delicious. Definately a treat you don't want to miss!

Loved their chocolate ice cream but then I might be a chocolate addict. But I also had a scoop of the dragon fruit sorbet and passion fruit sorbet. It was sooo good. They also serve just a plain "cream" ice cream so Gigi, our Pitbull, thoroughly enjoyed her cup of ice cream and wanted more!!!

I stayed in SJDS with my family for nearly a week or more and we made sure to go to this gelato store every single day. Yes, every single day. And we guys know how our ice cream should be, which means you can trust us on your ice cream. So yes, go here guys.

Nicaragua does not have much to offer in terms of ice creameries, however 'Superfrutto Gelateria' is AMAZING! My husband and I love to grab a cup just to share. Although it is not cheap in terms of a Nicaraguan restaurant, the prices are pretty great for the value, 60 cords for a medium sized cup with two flavor options is... More

In the middle of town you find Superfrutto Galetaria in Avenira Mercado. They have different tasts of ice cream like mango / maracua / vanilla/ coconut etc, etc. For 30 , 60 ang 90 cordobas you enjoy it.

Good gelato with some local flavor that are fun to try. Limited places to sit, but better to walk the town with a cone anyway. If all u want is ice cream, pick another spot like Eskimo that will be cheaper and keep the kids satisfied...good option for a post dinner sweet and walk thru town.

After a good meal at one of the many fine eateries in SJDS, there is Superfrutto Gelateria for your last stop for Italiano Gelato to a perfect evening, as you stroll down the beach with a smile.

This ice cream place had great reviews but came up short in reality. My friend and I had just gotten into town and were looking for something to cook us off, so ice cream was our go to. The staff weren't nice at all, and weren't happy to tell you the flavour names or the menu choices. Paid $4 US... More
