Had fun playing beer pong here. They have great music! We also had snacks, the guacamole was awesome.

Great bar with lots of open space and multiple bars. Plenty of room to dance, plenty of room to lounge on the sofas, beer pong tables too! The beer is ice cold and the mixed drinks looked good. This bar knows how to have fun, whether it is beer pong or limbo competition for shots. Overall, I enjoyed my time... More

It wasn't very crowded and they were playing 90s American music. Which was lame since I was in Nicaragua and I'd definitely prefer to hear local music. The drinks were a little higher priced than other spots but nothing crazy.

I've been to Howler bar several times over the past month, it's right off the beach, across the street and always has amazing music playing. I've had my fair share of their snack menu, the guacamole is really good most of the time, I personally find it to be more of a snack that I eat alone and don't share... More

I went here because I heard about their Cuban sandwich. Unfortunately the food was pretty disappointing. It just wasn't good enough. The bread wasn't right, the ham tasted pretty low quality and the slow roasted pork wasn't as tender as you can expect and not very flavorful. The garlic fries were okay.

Drinks were decently prices for being across from the beach, but it wasn't the best atmosphere. Even on a Saturday night with a live band they were pretty quiet. Might be fun if it was busier

This was my home away from home in SJDS. Even when the power was out in the whole town for 12 hours, howlers was pumping (due to their generators). Great mojitos, great bartenders, Wi-fi always working! This is a super fun atmosphere...and they have the best karaoke night ever! (Ice, ice, baby won me 2nd place, ha!)

Ahhh the garlic fries are the most amazing hot chips I've ever had! And the Cubana sandwich! Such an awesome bar and the food is always made fresh, we've been there a million times this trip and can't wait to go back!

Great drinks in this funky little space. The girls are great and always friendly. Right of the beach across from the Eskimo.
